Antelope Valley HD - my friends and race sponsors - Laurie Kellerman's son Richard, his wife Rikki, son Levi and their soon-to-be-born child.

Richard is active duty USMC and they allowed him a 2 week delay on his next deployment to be at the birth of his child.

Hard to see this photo and not be moved by all that it represents...

Wow.

Now THAT'S the real deal. Kudos to his CO for letting him see after kid #2 showing up.

Slaughter, thanks for sharing.

Godspeed to a safe journey and return for this fine young man.

Well, now he's got to make sure he comes back to clean his guns when her boyfriend shows up in sixteen years or so.

Cool pic.
My best friend, closer than a brother, was in Afghanistan when his daughter, also named Abigail, was born.
I snapped a picture of the moment when he held her for the first time. To anybody else it might be just be a dark grainy cellphone picture of a bald guy holding a baby, but I tear up anytime I look at it. It's the most emotionally stirring picture I have ever taken.
