I like Chip's cars because he doesn't go crazy with them. Subtle changes, not drastic modifications. They look sleek, not modified. I would expect he'll be true to the original bike, while still leaving his mark. | ||

As long as you don't mind having weird looking billet alloy wheels & a 350 Chevy crate motor in your bike, it should be fine.  | ||

I've always liked what they've done to cars on Overhaulin'. I like that they try to stay close to the owner's vision for the car. They don't just slap in a chevy small block and billet wheels... well ok they always slap on a set of billet wheels, but they do match the car. Also, I like how the show is all about the car, the owner, and the build, not tensions between Foose and his workers and a bunch of soap opera BS, like so many other car/bike shows. | ||

Foose is pretty damn impressive. I'll bet there aren't very many people that have his combination of artistic talent and the ability to actually build what he envisions. On top of that, he actually seems like a pretty nice guy. | ||

Milt, I think you're thinking of "Pimp My Ride" Has Foose put tv screens in any of the builds? I know they sometimes put some serious sound systems in, but I've never seen them do anything impractical or over the top. I was once working on an oil rig out in Texas watching "Pimp My Ride" with my roommate for the job and making fun of how ridiculous the cars were. I made a joke about them putting a hot tub in the back of an SUV.... then on the next episode they actually put a hot tub in the back of an SUV! | ||

Doing a quick search; Foose has a triumph and a couple harleys. He also sells motorcycle wheels, which seem to be aimed at chopper/cruisers. I imagine that an Overhaulin' motorcycle episode will be someone who has a basketcase chopper that they've never been able to finish for whatever reason. They'll stage a break-in and theft and then build the guy's chopper up the way he wanted. I doubt they'll do a sportbike, maybe a streetfighter style bike, but way more likely a chopper. | ||
