One more thing to watch for... Tape on road pranks. http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2013/08/22/motorcyc list-hurt-after-getting-caught-in-duct-tape-prank- on-roadway/ Basically, they either lay it flat on the road sticky side up, where it will get sucked up into your wheels, or suspend it at X feet up so it wraps around you. Either approach, which would be an ill conceived "prank" when done to somebody in a car, is basically attempted murder for someone on a motorcycle. |

Some morons up around my neck of the woods were caught putting up saran wrap between signposts. "But it's just a prank!" |

A couple of years ago a couple who didn't like the sound of motorcycles, strung a wire between two poles on a road up in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Bonnydoon. A group of motorcycle riders saw it before anyone got hurt and they called the police and blocked the road until they got there. The couple admitted to doing it in front of the police officer and were both charged and convicted of attempted murder (pretty sure that was the charge). Once they found out the charge, they suddenly changed their plea to not guilty, but they were recorded on the dash cam when they admitted stringing the wire up... |

oops. but I thought but we just....... Back in my teenaged dirtbiking days, we had a couple of little idiots string up fishing line between trees on my trail. We were just lucky they did such a bad job of it with the strings sagging down to knee height. My friend and I "deconstructed" their little clubhouse. Nothing remained of it larger than a foot long. |

Reverse natural selection? This is what happens you reward stupidity and failure in society. Idiots breed and their stupid kids do dumb shit like this. |

They will get caught or worse! I was watching a youtube video where these kids were just pretending to hold a rope across a street and people were honking and stopping. This camero comes back down the road and throws a full sealed bottle of soda into the kids chest at 45+ mph! I know that hurt and it could have killed someone. I have seen the after math of kids speeding up and down the road and throwing things out of moving cars. One kid got hit with a cinder block at 50 mph and he had to be life flighted to the hospital. |

I've had a brick through the windscreen of a truck(cabover tractor) in the UK luckily for me I was driving a Left-hand-drive that day. Kids on a bridge, nobody was ever caught. It's a dangerous old world out there, stay safe. |

My brother got charged for aggravated assault for throwing a vanilla wafer out the window, striking a man in the genitals. He was hospitalized. Vanilla wafer. IIRC the man dropped the charges but the local law enforcement, well acquainted with his hi jinks, gave him some good old fashioned harassment. When I was very young I'd hide in a bush and shine a big 6V flashlight into cars. People looked startled and slowed down, but nobody got hurt. |
