Amazing! There is actual film footage of a CalTrans employee working. I've lived in California for 50 years and this is the first I've ever seen of this. Typical Cal Trans conversation: CalTrans guy:"Hey boss, we're all out here on the jobsite but nobody brought any shovels. What do you want us to do?" Supervisor: "I'll throw some in the back of my truck and head out there right away. Meanwhile, just lean against each other." | ||

Was anybody really expecting the cops to obey the laws of our land? These kids apparently had documents allowing them to post their signs, and were assembled peaceably. Do I think the one kid was purposely baiting the cops? Yes. Do I think that matters? No. Pig had no right to touch anybody. The Caltrans guy driving up onto the curb should be prosecuted for assault with a deadly weapon, or at least conspiracy to commit assault since he was apparently responding to a call by the officers. | ||

Welcome to the Police State Strictly looking at the legality and public safety, the public servants may not have been in the wrong, overall. BUT, that could definitely have been handled better. Three armed officers vs. some teenager, he could have "moved" quite easily without laying any hands on. Verbal skills and command presence (+ three armed officers) that should have been as easy as stealing candy from a baby. The cops were pissed and let their emotions get the better of them, what's this guy going to do if someone really taunts him?? Empty mags and piles of brass? | ||

Someone 'gave the order'........"get rid on those signs and people.  (a disciple of obama) Somebody should have cleared the walkway of pedestrians BEFORE they drove up on it.Wouldn't you love to see a bystander ran over that was just curious as to what was going on? Officers:No diplomacy at all. There is a cure for all this in my opinion...GET RID OF oBAMA! | ||

Silly. There is no legal paper to display banners on an overpass. All of them (regardless of political affiliation) are illegal. The kid is lucky they did not ticket him for jay walking... ...and the caltrans guy did not almost him him... The kid with the camera should apply to drama camp. | ||

It is silly. The other side are experts at being silly. These guys are trying to get started, but they have a conscience and it is harder for them to defy it. They will get better at it. Hilary doesn't have a chance. | ||
