Just let me get wifey past the Canadian winter before I spring it on her that a number of disreputable buelligans will be descending on her home to drag me away to play motorcycles. |

Something to look forward to for 2014. It's the first place that sunlight hits in North America. (I bet the Mrs would enjoy the trip; especially if you get that Stelvio ) |

I've forgotten most of the ones Bill aka Newfiebuell told me. I've been to Newfoundland a couple of times, it's one of those places I could easily call "Home". |

A Newfie applies for a carpenter's job. He's asked, "How do you make a venetian blind?" The Newfie says, "You poke ees eyes out!" |

Innes; maybe you should get the Mrs. a Spider? Then, she could ride her own bike (Trike) along with the crew to St. John's. She'd love it and you'd love it, and think of the amazing memories you two would have! |

When you decide to REALLY go west, you can ride with our SCAB (Southern California Area Buellers) group. This Sunday, we rode 505 miles in a single day while hitting seven counties. The ride would have been an extra hundred miles but we had to route around a major forest fire. It was a glorious ride. Good luck on your North American adventure but you must avoid meeting FB1 at all costs. He will hump your pant leg like the little poodle that he is. (Message edited by reindog on June 04, 2013) |

There are states you can't get across in 500 miles! |

Attended a friend's wedding recently; Kilgore, Texas to El Paso, Texas, just 750 miles. The 80 MPH speed limit helps. The thunderstorms, hail, and dust storm, not so much. |

...you must avoid meeting FB1 at all costs. He will hump your pant leg like the little poodle that he is. Geez, can't a feller have any secrets around here?!? Hey, I'm a kinder, gentler Ferris Bueller these days, and am MUCH choosier about the legs I hump. Reindog: Mind your gap. Grumpster: Welcome. |

Update time . Due to the Canadian immigration authorities being overloaded there's a 3-6 month supplemental delay in processing. So we're currently looking at 5-11 months for visas. |

Not too shabby a time frame. It gives you all the time you need to tie up loose ends in France, say goodbye to your friends and relatives etc'. We had a nine month lead in to our arrival in the USA when we moved here. Can your future employer get them to move a little more quickly? Bon Chance, Chris C |

Some friends who live in Ithaca NY, picked up a scandohoovian exchange student at JFK. On the ride back to the Peoples Republic of Ithaca, he was excited, and talked about all the places he wanted to visit, the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, etc. They told him Niagara was a great idea, but that they wouldn't have time to take him to a lot of his list. 2 hours later, he's wondering where they are and how long it will take to get there..... they pull out a US map, fold it to include their path and pass it back. Pointing out where they picked him up, and where they were headed, he was still puzzled by the seeming short distance, and long times..... then they told him to unfold it.......... After they pointed out the Grand Canyon, LA, etc. he was in a state of shock, as my buddy pointed out that the trip to the Grand Canyon was further than from Oslo to Istanbul.......... |
