Tommaso Bestia Had to self fit the bike ...seems ok for now. I will probably re-adjust after more miles. I took my dog to the park and she is loving running with me. I got Shimano MD20 MTN pedals with Basic Scott MTN bike shoes, It's a little awkward at first but we will get the hang of it. Can't do much with a bad back but cycling for fitness doesn't irritate it at all and I already feel great after my first ride with it. I may enter a race in October (probably zooming a little)for now I just need to get back in shape... loose my 15+lb belly:

Don't take a Griso for a demo ride! I took a Norge for a demo ride, and a week later, I had to buy one. Guzzis are very enticing Italians; kinda like this talk show host:
I've never watched Italian TV, but I think I'd like to! |

How far do you have to ride before that little girl is all worn out? |

Oh she loves to run...her mother was 100% Shih Tzu and her father was a Finnish Spitz & Pomeranian mix so she have a bit more energy than most her type. She used to be a lot more energetic. She is about a 1.5lbs overweight so I am getting her back in shape. (me too) For now we are a good match for working out on the bike but I will have to leave her home for longer rides. We used to go on 2-4 mile hike/treks at a 20 acre dog park and she would run all over the place at the park always seems to have a second wind after a short rest. With the bike it's going to be different. When she gets tired... she will plop down and force me to rest too!! haha. Of course I bring water and food/treats. Walking and running her at the park will let me to practice clipping and unclipping my shoes from the pedals every time she needs to stop to smell something. (I am not used to the small MTB pedals) For now I am just moving in short spurts of speed.. nothing more than what she would do by herself at the 20 acre dog park. |
