Anyone know the area? I have a relative that got a job out there and is looking to move there. Just looking for cheap, safe area to live, small apt with parking. I guess within a 40 min drive to Hackensack?? I don't really know the area at all. 1300 a month max is all he can afford.

There is plenty, I would start looking in Garfield, Wallington or east rutherford. There is Parsipanny which is further out but more expensive stay in Bergan county if you can.
Garfield has great Polish restaurants and stores for the European fair,all are close to rt 17 and 80 and shopping and Manhatten is just minutes away.

haha thanks for the laugh!....told my gf about the thread this morning,... and she laughed and started singing the song...only it was the wrong song!!!!! She was singing Allentown but using Hackensack as the town!!


In her defense... WAIT.. there really is no defense for that!!! (she did just wake up/no coffee yet)
