Just sat & watched the traditional military parade along the Champs Elysee, perfect weather & most impressive. Mrs G is ex-military so we usually watch the parade on the tv, & I have to say it stirs me to watch with a certain pride the forces of my adopted home. Next we're going to get an address from the current president, a good job I don't have a gun or I'd be likely shooting the telly. Lots of firework displays this evening too so I'll be sitting out on the terrace later watching them all around the valley.
