I spent a lot of time following multiple sources on this including FOX who probably has it closest to right.

We used to have a Zimmerman thread....

I'll repeat what I know.

A kid is dead, an adult was attacked, and the police that investigated the incident were called by Mr. Zimmerman, were first at the scene, and declined to prosecute.

We won't ever know who threw the first punch, for sure, but all indications are it was Martin. It appears that Z, suspicious of M, followed him while informing the police of his actions. It seems that Z broke off his following of M, as requested by the police, and had returned to his car when M attacked him.

The exact details of the fight, who threw the first punch or made the first threat, is not known. Morally, legally, the first punch, the first spoken threat, determine who is responsible. Who gets killed is NOT an indicator of who's fault it is.

Political forces have made death threats, instigated the prosecution, and are out to lynch Zimmerman, a minority, legal adult citizen. A man who, without doubt, killed Martin, a 17 year old on the edge of legal adulthood, minority citizen.

The only racism proven in this case, at this time are the racists who make large amounts of money exploiting race, like Rev Sharpton, racist supremists like the Black Panthers, ( old, new, whatever. ) and the politicians using racism to make points.

Mr. Z has already had his life ruined by this, as is unfortunately almost normal for a citizen caught in a questionable shoot, but in this case made far worse by the political aspects, not ONE that is Zimmermans fault, responsibility, or caused by him.

So........

I don't know what level of guilt for Martin's death Zimmerman should have. I can discuss If-Thens, but don't know which applies.

And neither do you.

I have some faint, lingering hope that he will receive a fair trial, and have an opinion based on early data that the trial itself is a setup. That Zimmerman should not be prosecuted, because that was the original conclusion by actual police investigators before the politics kicked in.

I DO know that this case is being used by anti-freedom groups that are known liars, in fact habitual liars, mostly but not all leftist groups that embrace the Lie as the normal way of doing business.

I know the tie in to the Obama Thread is based on the racism of the Obama Campaign and it using Trayvon Martin's death as a tool to whip up hate. I don't know if the Obama Campaign ( it's been renamed, but it's still a criminal money laundering group ) plans to spark riots to some nefarious end.

At this point in our history, it's getting harder to decide what is paranoia, and what is rational speculation. Secret courts, secret laws, executive powers of assassination, drone strikes, "legalization" of kidnapping on Presidential orders, domestic spying on the internet and phone systems, all are established facts. It's far too small a leap to planned riots and martial law for comfort, but that is, still, so far, paranoid speculation.

There are a lot of facts out there. Zimmerman had clear and obvious head injuries. If he wanted to execute Martin, he would have done so without first calling the cops on himself, and without getting his ass half kicked first.

Martin appears to have been an aspiring thug. Like squids on big bikes who stunt without gear and take all sorts of stupid chances... the thug life either ends with death or early retirement. It's a roll of the dice. I'm sorry Martin is dead, but I'm not surprised.

It could as easily be a case of feeling pushed that last inch too far, which does not in any way excuse assault.

Besides, the "martin case" is a deliberate distraction from the other scandals. Sure, there's a high probability it will end up with race riots planned and run by Obama supporters. Sure, the President will probably use it to take more power and oppress the citizens, even more. But the timing is all wrong for a spark for total domination by a brutal dictator.

Of course, I could be wrong.

It's not like the agency responsible for our healthcare could mess up, right?

First time I had heard money laundering via political campaign donations. it seems like they are spending enormous amounts of time "fund raising"

I agree that the trial and the negative publicity can be used to incite trouble in that community. but I do not think that it can trigger nation wide trouble.

the sooner these clowns are removed from office the better...

How did the those 1968 riots and LA riots work out anyway? I adore the Barneys who love to shoot themselves in the foot.

Almost as much as I adore the fools who support the Obama Clown Car.

This is precisely why America is in serious trouble. We fail or refuse to learn from history so this kid will have his guts spilled on a battlefield coming soon to our neighborhood. Welcome to 1914. Or 1984 if you prefer.

Prediction:

If we get a conservative administration after Obama, that does nothing about health care reform, attacks social security, does nothing about immigration reform, restricts voters, attacks unions , and limits funding for education, discourages college loans, etc., we will a reaction that makes what's going on in Brazil look tame.

Where did you get your list? SEIU? CPUSA?

just curious who gave you that ridiculous talking point list.

But I agree, Health care needs to be reformed. Obamacare must be ended, it's a disaster.

Social Security? It's attacked now, they stole all the money.

Immigration reform? Now there you have something. We HAVE to end the racism. It didn't start with Teddy Kennedy, but he sure made it worse. NO race based determination. Period. Those A0000les.
The current stupid bill is going to make it worse.

Restrict voters? How? Like the 2012 manipulation of non-profits? Id laws? Seriously tell me your sainted Mother never had an ID in her life, yet is still alive. ( doesn't drive, collect Social Security, or any other benefits and is not on any health or other insurance? )

Discourage college loans? They've been Socialized. How are you going to discourage them?

Limits funding for education? Duh. You going to pay for it out of "Obama's Stash"? He won't give that up.

1) Health Care Reform: Everyone wants health care reform but Obama and the Dems delivered a monstrosity that must be repealed. I have previously listed many ways for reform.
2) Attacks social security: SS will die on its own if change is not made. Once again, Dems and RINOs wasted an opportunity in 2004.
3) Immigration reform: Yes, let's build a secure border and make Americans do the jobs that Americans refuse to do.
4) Restricts voter: I presume you mean voter ID. A nation is literally insane to not make a citizen prove they are eligible to vote. Kinda getting tired of dead people and illegals voting. Aren't you?
5) Attacks unions: Public sector unions should be abolished as they are a conflict of interest with the taxpayers not having a seat at the table. FDR was adamantly opposed to public sector unions.
6) Education: This is a State's right issue. Abolish the Dept. of Education.
7) Discourages college loans: The current system is nothing but a funnel from the taxpayer to the universities to raise tuition and lead students into a life of indentured servitude. Yes, we need a more rational system.

Thanks for chiming in. Conservatism is the only road to fix America. Every other path leads to ruin.

I'll argue with that!

Enlightened Rational Libertarianism is the way to go!

( and I admit ERL looks pretty conservative, but less uptight )

Unfortunately I don't think that's a working party. Pity. ( but I don't think the Conservative party is working, or conservative )

I do think we can agree that the Progressive/cloward piven pseudo marxist neo fascism as practiced by todays regime is not the answer to anything but how to make our exploitive leaders richer.

Funny that constitution thing, says that to become a law these policies must pass both house and senate,

I am not a law scholar but it seems that this is not legal.

It would be nice to have references to these facts and figures that BO is presenting.

the house should cut off all funding for any and all of this until there is a vote in both the house and senate passing it or belaying it, we can do better than this

this type of leadership has not worked any where its been employed.

I'm curious if the list of causes of doom are from somewhere.

In politics, you get mantras.

R's starve the elderly, kick puppies, and plot with Big Business to rule us with an iron fist.

D's blah, socialist buyer of votes, blah, bread and circuses, blah, rule us all with an iron fist.

Some truth to that, both sides.

But we have the list of the day, and I'm curious to read it myself so that I may better understand the reasoning.

It's not like every item on the list can be dismissed as a talking point mantra.

Education, for instance, has the real issues of high costs, in part because of Govt. involvement inflating the cost.

Also the balance between centralized authority and conformity vs. community control.

Plus! the advantage of spreading the money around so poor communities can have good larning vs. The leverage that gives bureaucracy.

Not a one sided thing.

Wonderful certainly knows how to insult his hosts. In Senegal, he blathers about homo rights and how everyone should embrace them. The President of Senegal, which is a country that outlaws the practice, took offense. Nice touch, Wonderful, in jabbing your host publicly! One does this kind of diplomacy in private if you want to change perceptions. Keep up the good work and say hi to Xi and Vlad for me. What a maroon.

Ok, Congress says no, the President says yes, and he won so too bad.

I can see it from his viewpoint, I don't like Congress either. OTOH this is the difference between Presidents and Emperors.

I Think it's become a religious question on this one, and we'll see how long before it's challenged on that basis.

as far as the Obama cultural sensitivity in Africa goes..... dang. It's like every speech is for US consumption and the country is just a set for the play.

As long as you donate to Obama's Campaign, he's on your side.

Have you noticed that the IRS hearings seem to be in slow motion, Does it make sense that the dems actually broke the story now so the low effort types will have gone on with life by the time that the mid terms have rolled around?

a the repubs spend 12+ mos digging for answers and getting indictments,
b the repubs send the IRS stuff to a Grand Jury and the various malcontents go to jail

in any event it is the consummate political stroke, and the Bastards have put it behind them at mid term time.
The repubs get a black eye and the traitors keep on their destructive path.
