I’ve owned the Ruger Mini-14 platform since 1987. I currently have 2 Mini-14’s and a Mini-30. My 185 Series rifle is the one I always go to. Over the years, its gone through several makeovers. This is what it currently looks like. And I’ve listed my mod’s bellow. It’s just like a motorcycle. I’ve made it very personal, and have tried to squeeze as much out of it as I can. Without going completely overboard. The only thing I have left to do is a new rear sight. TechSights makes a nice replacement. Would love to see what other’s have done with their Mini’s. Its cool to see how creative people can be.

And oldie but a goodie! I traded my Fender Strat (Mexi) for a 180 Series Liberty model, that became my wife's. Its a great shooting rifle. And a lot different then the 181+ models.

Longer receiver, slimmer stock and a way different bolt catch.
