Just wanted to say that over the years I have been fortunate to buy some motorcycles and accessories/parts from folks on this forum. Every deal was exactly as presented. In each case the exchange was attended to quickly and conducted with complete honesty. Thank you all, it a true pleasure doing business with each of you. Sometimes this just needs to be said is all.

My big complaint about buying here is that whenever I manage to talk the seller *up* to a fair price, they sneak something extra in the package when they send it.

: )

I thought this was going to be a post about problems with purchasing carburetors.

I have also had good results trading with fellow Badwebbers.

My first badweb purchase was my 2006 Xb12Ss, sight unseen, shipped from Florida.

I couldn't have been more pleased, and I have had nothing but positive experiences since.

I have had good experiences dealing with Badwebbers with two exceptions.A member had issues with an item I sold him and was a bit upset so I refunded his money plus shipping the item back to me.
As far as purchases go,I bought a tank bag from a member on this board nearly a year ago, paid for it and never received it.Now I believe said member was going through a divorce or separation at the time, but yet he was advertising the tank bag for sale.I understand that problems in your daily life can sometimes cause you to fail to meet obligations in a timely manner, but I did pay for the bag and would rather have it than the money. You would think that a year would be sufficient time to either ship the bag or if you are unable to do so refund the money.
I like to give members of this board the benefit of the doubt as we are like one big extended family and I keep hoping that he will come around to making this right.

I sold an EBR Race ECM, Saddle bags and a tank bag here once I traded in my 1125R. Only one of the purchasers let me know he received the item I shipped. I'm assuming that since the other two never complained that they got their merchandise as well. What can ya do?

Bought and sold stuff. One really slow pay, guy had problems, blah blah blah, ended up sending me payment plus. Last item I told the guy was a freebee, and he had already sent me $$$. Purchases have all been great.

I have always had good luck trading with forum members, dating back to the days of 110bps pulse dialing modems.

The people here, regardless of political slant, I'd say we're all pretty all right.

Some of the best people I have ever done business with are here on Badweb. Don't recall ever having any issues.
