Feds Pull 3D-Printed Gun Design from Web So now everybody can print out a single shot plastic pistol. What's the problem? Everybody can make an ammonium nitrate/diesel fuel bomb or a Molotov cocktail too. I always wondered what and acetylene tank inside one of those huge silage bags would do........if you opened the tank at one end and had a burning candle at the other end. Course,you can't attempt to do that since there is no "how to" design instructions on the web..........regardless that it IS a crime/illegal in the category of "dangerous device". | ||

A suggestion from Glenn Beck is that you get together with your neighbors that are Citizens, put a lawyer on retainer, ( it's not that hard to find one that wants to make a Name ) and prepare for the arrests, trials and lawsuits. Paranoid? Not at all. What's better, to find yourself in jail with one phone call ( if allowed any under the Obama rules ) and no idea which lawyer wants to touch your case? Or with a guy ready to kick butt for you? Civil disobedience. Passive resistance. Join the NRA, and write your Congresscritter. If he/she is a supporter of this tyranny, tell them you are going to support the Other Guy next election, and support a freedom loving candidate.  | ||

It's a shame that while things have been kept in check on the federal level that some states have gone full retard on restrictive bans and laws. They don't really want your guns, they ultimately just want your freedom. Our government is no longer of the people by the people or for the people. | ||

I doubt that will go anywhere in Colorado. I left the East Coast for the Rockies nearly 25 years ago. I wanted to get away from the restrictive busy body nanny states back East to get to the libertarian West. Now Colorado is full of east coast and California Democrats with disdain for hunting, libertarian attitudes, and guns. It's over, this place is done. Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho are still solid, but Colorado is gone. | ||

That's happening everywhere. People from the Nanny States get tired of the loss of freedom, high taxes, and cost of living. They move to a more free State and turn around and try and make it the hell they came from. "why isn't that free? There should be a LAW!!!!" Actually, that Phrase is usually a good indicator that the speaker is full of feces. "There should be a law". Um, No. Probably not, or there already IS a law no one enforces because it's badly written in a hurry because some ditz insisted "there oughta be a law". Often, No there shouldn't be a law. That thing you are complaining about is either been illegal since Rome, or it's someone else's God given right and you are far too easily upset. This is also the recipe for disaster with certain "religious groups" that move en mass to Western nations and try and make, Sweden, say, into Syria. Or Buffalo into Iran. At times, I admire napoleonic law. If you sue, say you sue to stop a traffic light going up near your house, if you lose you pay all court costs. You may even get counter sued for damages that happened because YOU delayed the Traffic light. It's not perfect, and there are major issues, especially with basic concepts, but there are days. Bill Whittle did a brilliant rant, "A Tale of Two Revolutions: The War of Ideas & the Tragedy of the Unconstrained Vision" It's about the difference between the French and American Revolutions and the basis of each. Unfortunately, it's now a member only video, and while PJTV has some good stuff, it's unapologetically Conservative, and I can't tell you to pay for it's stuff, since I don't either. | ||

Sarah rocks. It's excellent to see and hear folks, especially young folks, who understand that our Constitution is the bedrock of America. It is what makes our country unique. The Founders went to great pains to insure that we the people would be able to control our destiny, not an omnipotent, power-hungry, corrupt central government. I cant speak to "those Democratic Liberals, moving in from out of state". I would not rule out that the recall won't remove one law maker from office, the message is clear a LARGE number of voters are dissatisfied with the new state laws in CO. I hope that it will happen. Face it the CO law fails the "The right of the people to bear arm shall not be INFRINGED" test. Just like those of us riding motorcycles...those that don't often think we are stupid and crazy. Perhaps they should move to CA .....} |
