With WWZ about a month away, I've ramped up my zombie intake. I picked up The Zombie Diaries and it was awful. It was filmed documentary style, but it sucked. Bad. I'm not sure the same four main characters were used throughout the film. The cover shows a guy in the silhouette of London with body armor that has a biohazard logo and carrying a shotgun. This wasn't in the movie at all. So... I also picked up Ozombie. It's not bad. "Why aren't there any Wal-Marts in Afghanistan?" "There's a target on every corner!" What have you seen recently that you could suggest? |

Watched "Contagion" the other day, knew it wasnt gonna be zombies but it sucked. Picked up a collection of 10 zombie movies on 1 disc from Walmart for $5 but havent watched any yet. Has Night of the Living Dead by Romero and I Am Omega remake of Omega Man?? Speaking of which, I did like I Am Legend. |

I liked Omega Man with Heston and liked it. I Am Legend was pretty good. I like the black and white Night of the Living Dead. It was the first zombie movie I saw on Big Chuck and Little Jon (Clevelanders will know...). I liked the remake of Dawn of the Dead too |

I didn't think Contagion was bad, it just wasn't anything memorable |

I've always liked 28 days later but the follow up sequel was pretty bad. For humor, I would suggest seeing Zombieland and Shaun of the dead. |

yeah.... Shaun of the Dead is good fun. The Walking Dead series is pretty good, a little cheesy here and there, but hey... it's zombievision. |

Warm Bodies was pretty good, should be out on netflix/redbox by now. It was cool to see a zombie movie with a zombie pov. The love story in it made a good date flick but doesn't ruin the movie. |

Walking Dead.. is ok... but is just a gory nighttime soap opera... I watching it.. I am waiting for the 15 min intro credits and the music video endings to start happening (like grey's anatomy) Too many scenes overdone. But one scene has stuck with me,.. where they are riding to save someone from the gov, and get stuck on the road, then some man yells for help down the road and they leave him... at the end of show they ride by his mangled body and take his backpack. That was horrible and makes me hate that limey sheriff mf'er and his soap opera posy. I hope they all get eaten. haha But, I will be watching next season of course. Anyone watch Falling Skies?? Same freakin show.. but again... I will watch it.. haha WWZ looks like it could have potential but I already saw the stupid rabid-superhuman-zombies and looks overdone. I guess the "I have to have it now" way of thinking is contagious. |

Read the book "World War Z", by Max Brooks. It is written in a Studs Terkel style. |

Oh yeah I forgot "Fido" too. Messed up and funny. |

I've seen all of these but Fido. I've seen screen shots and was concerned it was a 50's-esque view of the world, like Edward Scissorhands... But it's got Carrie Anne Moss and a few other big names if I remember correctly. I've tried to watch Falling Skies, but can't really get into it. Not sure how WWZ will play out. It's written in an interview format and it's slow zombies. I'm wondering if they just used the general premise of a world zombie apocalypse and a UN worker, but who knows? I'm seeing the wall around Israel, but nothing else appears to be familiar. |

From the previews I've seen of WWZ, I'm thinking it might just be a rental for me at most. Considering I've read the book, I feel I will be let down with how they did it for the screen. |

They should use the clip of zombies climbing up that wall ... and have the new Droid/iphone on the other side. |

If you liked Omega Man and/or I Am Legend, please check out Vincent Price in The Last Man on Earth(1964). All three are based on the same short story. |

For fun, look at "Death Valley," on Netflix; the San Fernando valley has a zombie/vampire/werewolf infestation. LAPD forms the UTF (Undead Task Force.) It's a satire on Cops, like Reno 911 + Cops + zombies. Watched 3 episodes, may watch more. |

The 1980's "Evil Dead" is not great, but is entertaining. |
