This article is interesting to me because it show the beginning of standardized battery packs. Or a blue Rhino type of distribution for the future.
If I had the ability to ride my electric bike up to 100 miles. Then stop at an exxon say, and pick up or swap out a battery pack the same way I would get fuel the world starts to open up a bit for me no?
This type of setup has been available for electric forklifts for decades and once it happens and it seems to be, it tells me we are beginning to get serious about electric vehicles.
I am at least excited about the future of E-Bikes!!!!

They do it with propane gas already at a lot of places. Just be another item to sell.

I like the insturement panel with the switchable lights, all my dirt bikes back in the 80's had those black out runners on em

for the reasons I would need them now.

Reanault/Nissan have already developed a battery swap system with Better Place. Currently in use in Israel & Denmark.

Renault are pulling out though.
