classic movie: I doubt it could be made today - the PC/Socialist crew would never let Rambo have weapons (unless he was deemed crazy or a terrorist) and the Safety Nazi's would be so down on riding without a helmet that the seizures could be felt on either coast PS - what 80's male teen DIDN'T have one of these knives ?!!?! | ||

I had one of those Rambo survival knives at age 10-12 ish. It had a compass on the heel that screwed off to house matches, wire saw and something else I thought. Of course that was the 80's when boys could be boys. Progressives want all males to speak softly, wear tight earth toned sweaters and capri pants/shorts. Male and female merge into one neutral equal sex driving suburus to the apple store. I am sure I am leaving something else out... | ||

And here is a random thought. Most states outlaw or severely restrict blades over about four inches. I believe I know the reason. It is: because a politicians heart is so small it could not possibly reach it. It would take at least a 12 inch blade and even then, probably miss it entirely. HA! | ||

City - i was born in 82, so I wasnt an 80s teen...but i had one  if they tried to remake THAT movie (not just another rambo, that last one was terrible), they'd water it down so much They'd put some smoothfaced young guy as the star wearing slim jeans and a designer shirt. and there might be vampires involved. as for your second video: the bike that i learned to ride a motorcycle with a clutch was a 74 ts100, pretty similar to that. i miss that bike. I miss that style dual sports. I WILL buy another ts100 at some point in my life | ||

Here in South Africa gun ownership has become severely restrictive , knives and traditional weapons too, it is illegal to carry a knopkirrie(a fighting stick similar to a walking stick with a large head- Knop or in english -Knob)in public. A knife with a blade longer than 2" is also illegal. The problem here is that legal gun owners are being stripped of their weapons systematically. Now the balance of power has shifted to the criminals who obtain these weapons by illegal means, sometimes even through robberies of law enforcement facility's. Weapons even pass from cop to criminal for the right price. Bottom line is weapons will always find their way to the hands of those with bad intent, leaving those of us who would defend ourselves with no immediate means to do so! | ||
