I have been looking for the Peter Max Buell S3 for many years. I first saw it in the Santa Cruz HD/Buell Dealership many moons ago.

I found pictures of it in this thread:

I was wondering if anyone knows where it is today?

It was probably painted over in grey primer, and is sitting in a yard somewhere covered in bird poop...

It's probably buried under a pile of barf, it certainly made me feel ill to look at.

I have to admit that peter max never did much for me.
That bike in particular is worse since he didn't seem to understand where the parts would be relative to each other when installed on the bike.
Looks like they would fade into each other but then they are disjointed when installed on the bike.

I'd like to have a bike painted by R. Crumb. Maybe an Indian would be a good choice?
Just picture it; Mr. Natural on one bag, Flakey Foont on the other, the Keep On Truckin' guys on the air box and maybe some falling meatballs on the gas tank!

Did Peter Max invent Hello Kitty?

Yeah Crusty, that would be a killer paint scheme!
Or maybe Gilbert Shelton, and the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, along with Fat Freddie's cat...

If I could have anybody paint my bike it would have to have been the late great Don Martin.

How about Captain Klutz on the tank & the Freen's on the tailpiece.
