WOW!
Id swear that Obama was frothing at the mouth ranting about loosing his weapons ban quest.
Not that hes done yet......
I was honestly surprised at how angry he sounded. As a politician i thought he would mask that anger, to seemingly rise above it all.
Glad were finally seeing a bit of his true nature.
For the record i dont think for a second that hes even remotely done with hacking on the second amendment.

Only 99%? That seems a little low.

I am glad that I became a lifetime NRA member several months ago. It looks like my money is going for a good cause. At the very least, Wonderful now realizes that he never received a "mandate" last November with 9 million fewer votes than he got in 2008.

Let's get back to Benghazi and onwards towards impeachment of Wonderful.

I can't believe they continue to run with the lie that 90% of America wants universal background checks. Its as if they think we are stupid. People will see how these politicians are advancing agendas off the tragedies of newtown kids and Boston marathon victims. Iam so disgusted. What ends will they go to?

Wonderful continues to show his true colors by snubbing the funeral of Margaret Thatcher.

"...it is standard operating procedure for the Vice President or First Lady or, at a minimum the Secretary of State, to attend funerals of foreign leaders, even those from lesser nations.

It goes without saying that when one of the longest serving leaders of America's closet and most enduring ally dies, the United States should send a large and distinguished delegation of America's leaders, past and present.

Not this time.

The White House offered a lame excuse -- all the senior Obama administration officials are way too busy to take 24 hours out of their hectic schedules to pay respects to the woman who helped win the Cold War, turn around the British economy, and shatter the glass ceiling of the English-speaking world."

A rare chance to see the real Obama.

He has contempt for you, for Congress, and the Constitution.

He's a very angry man.

To be fair, being raised to hate, exposed to racism in Indonesia, and steeped in 2 vengeful religious traditions, ( Islam and Liberation Theology ) would tend to make anyone less than cheerful.

I can sum his speech up in 2 words.

F@#$ you!.

Psychopath maybe? Seems pretty logical... lack of respect for human life (Pro Choice, unlawful detention, drone strikes on US citizens), feigned emotions (never seems to show real empathy), and shows his true side once he's called on it or doesn't get his way...

And I, many decades ago. I will continue "the fight" until I am dead! Freedom first, always.

As I posted in a different thread, I am not particularly enamored with guns but the NRA speaks for me. I encourage BadWebHeads to join or contribute to the NRA so that we have a voice for Conservatism in Congress.

It is way past time for Wonderful to leave the stage. His extreme narcissism is dangerous to America, not to mention ugly. He is finally learning the limitations of his power as people are waking up and learning to say "Just Say No" to this petty Community Organizer in Chief.

Toady Max Baucus, who was a supported of Obamacare, now sees it as an oncoming "train wreck".

From the junk bin this morning:

Hello --

During the State of the Union, President Obama called for a reasonable debate on a set of commonsense measures to help protect our kids by reducing gun violence. That night, Congress stood up and applauded. But now that the cameras are off and they aren’t forced to look the families of Newtown in the face, some in Congress aren’t backing up that show of support with action.

When it matters most, they're hoping that you're not paying attention.

But I know that's not the case. In the past week, 17,000 people have told us that they'll commit to adding their voices to this debate through social media -- together, they'll reach more than 15 million of their friends on Facebook and Twitter.

We're planning to have them speak out today. And we could really use your help.

Pledge to speak out about the need to reduce gun violence.

If we have a simple vote in Congress, we can get this done. And this afternoon, we'll begin to understand whether or not that's possible.

The Senate is considering a proposal that would go a long way toward making our country safer and protecting our kids. This afternoon, lawmakers get a chance to offer amendments -- some of them aimed at making the legislation better, some aimed at sinking it. One idea, closing loopholes in the background check system, has support from 90 percent of the public. In fact, even a majority of senators support this step. But we still need you to make your voice heard.

Vice President Biden will be talking through all of this today at 2:45 p.m. ET. He'll lead a discussion with a group of mayors from around the country on the steps we can take to reduce gun violence. You can watch that as it happens at whitehouse.gov.

And while you're doing that, take a minute to join the debate.

Pledge to speak out, and we'll work to make sure you're part of the conversation about guns here in Washington:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/issues/preventing-gun-vi olence/action

Thanks,

Dan

Harry Reid made a slip which revealed his true intentions. He called the upcoming vote, the anti-gun bill. Demos keep blathering that no one is going to take guns away and only want common sense gun control and that they are pro-gun but just want to reduce gun violence. He accidentally revealed his true intentions. Look it up yourself as I gotta go to work.

lol!

You guys sound like the Bush bashing haters you railed against so bad during the last administration. Too funny. ...and all the name calling? Jeez, grow up already.

When will people learn it's not a Democrat vs Republican thing? ALL politicians are the same. They have no interest in supporting all the people, only the people with money. Far right (conservative) is just as bad as far left (liberal).

I am an NRA member, voted mostly democrat last election (not for incumbents) and I do support background checks for gun purchases. I do not support gun bans or ammo restrictions though.

If our politicians were serious about preventing crimes like Newtown or Columbine, they would address the real problem; mental health care.

Universal background checks would have had no impact at sandy hook. This topic is a struggle democrats have held dear for a long time now and the slaughter of innocent children presented them with a political opportunity to strike a blow to gun owners who don't typically vote for them. Some of them are even using the marathon bombing to further their agenda.

Yea, progressive republicans like McCain and grahm are guilty too.

There's already too many gun laws on the books. They have no bearing on crime or violence. They never have.

You can't change society through legislation.

It's all about power, and this administration makes that obvious. We were fooled by such idiocy through the Clinton years. Ten years of a worthless gun and magazine ban did nothing. I hope America will not be fooled again.

Well law abiding gun owners shouldn't feel relieved yet. Its looking like the Boston terrorists used/had guns and while they don't appear to be tea party members like so many have hoped, the tea party, NRA, second amendment supporters will have some blame laid at their feet. Turn a political disaster into a political weapon.

Yeah, he seemed pretty peeved in his lecture to the Congress. I concur with Airbozo and Rick_a.

We need some kind of "common sense" filter for keeping the truly mentally ill from having the means to cause such great harm.

No one asked me my opinion so I guess I'm just part of the other 9%. Is this a made up number or so they have anything to back it?

Democrats should have no access to power of any kind. They would excel at prison labor! They would provide a source of wardens to control the prison. We do not even have to provide that. A liberals mind is already imprisoned lets just put them where they will be most comfortable. And as far away from normal people as possible.
Is Fire Island available ?

think he is loosing it over gun control.... the crash for his healthcare baby is closer and closer every day.

The leading adjudicator for underwriting called it a train wreck waiting to happen.
Sebalius (head of HHS) has had to announce yet another iteration to the 'cost' of the bill
There have been moves to dethrown the IPAB from the Senate side of things ....
and
a large leading health care entity has made moves to expand into markets into Brazil - where fee for service, and cash for premiums are the mode of the day..... look for them to totally abandon the US market all together if that bill stands.

The collapse is close enough to smell; it is coming early.
