City, dangit but I guess you're right... Love/hate your sense of humor. Truth is, and this is mentioned in the first article, "photography" as a vocation, much less an avocation, has become moot with the modern usage of smartphones and such. Back when the concept was a novel thing, folks were more creative, more appreciative. Haven't had my breakfast yet, so I'll look at POW later, maybe.

Photography (GOOD photography) is just as rare as it has always been. Just because the net is flooded with photo-crap doesn't mean there are MORE GOOD photos - just MORE photos. It's like because we get digital media and youtube and that crap that we should now expect to have more good singers? (Message edited by slaughter on April 11, 2013) |
