from SCRATCH! By hand and have a V-12 that fits in your hand and runs? This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen done by anyone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_51Rj7SO7M

I knew the guy who put this thing together. I got to see it in various stages of development back in the '80s, and got to see some test runs. Only seven cylinders, but damn cool.

The v-12 cam gears were the same size as the crank gear, usually (always) double, how does that work?

It wasn't an internal combustion engine. It's a steam engine/air compressor. Really cool to look at though. In spring, Waltham has a miniature engine exibit. it's lovely! http://www.crmi.org/events/new-england-model-engin eering-show/

That WOULD be the proper term. Unless, of course, you rode a Brammo or a Zero, that is. Then it WOULD be a "Motorcycle."

No he's right, Gas engine, electric motor, as a rule. But I use them when ever I feel like. And while that wasn't a gas power engine this one is! Build a engine...how about a whole Ferrari 312 ?!?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SeUMDY01uUA

I've been trying to work out the gears that drive the cams too. I'm stumped.

A friend of mine is building a mini hemi. Saw the block and oil pan a couple days ago.........UNREAL! He is getting gun shy now because he has SO MUCH time in it....proceeding with extreme caution.

I always wondered something about the Ferrari guy: If you're going to make a scale model that functions down to the tiniest of details, Why not make it in a scale of 1:1????

Since computers run on electricity, shouldn't they have search motors instead of search engines?
