For two days in a row, my bowel movement urges came at the same time as the Presidential oaths. Was not intentional. Being 'regular' does not mean exactly at the same time every day. Just happened.

Roderick, there was an episode of "Northern Exposure" that dealt with that subject. The tavern owner, who had married a Province winning Canadian Beauty queen, had difficulty after she feminized the bathroom. In that case IIRC a moose head balanced the feng shui. In your case it's pretty obvious that the power of suggestion was at work. Your sub-concious, aware that someone was full, decided to empty. Simple. ( and not Freudian at all )

BTW thank you for bringing up a subject that doesn't make me ill, like the event & people you missed out on for biological reasons.

Morning Bell: Obama’s Second Inaugural Address, Translated
Amy Payne - The Heritage Foundation, January 22, 2013

Members of Congress—who are about to debate raising the debt ceiling tomorrow—should have paid attention yesterday. The President was very clear that he sees no urgency about reducing the debt and cutting the deficit. In fact, in his second inaugural address, President Barack Obama was honest about his intentions to grow government in order to remake our country along his progressive vision.

To sell his agenda, the President borrowed imagery and terminology from America’s first principles. But he twisted the American founding idea of “We the people” into the liberal “It takes a village.”

His rhetoric on the issues only thinly disguised his true meaning. Let’s translate some of his key points.

An old farmer was hauling a load of manure when he was stopped by a state trooper.

"You were speeding," the cop said. "I'm going to have to give you a ticket."

"Yep," the farmer said as he watched the trooper shoo away several flies.

"These flies sure are terrible," the trooper complained.

"Yep," the farmer said. "Them are circle flies."

"What's a circle fly?"

"Them flies that circle a horse's tail," answered the farmer. "Them are circle flies."

"You wouldn't be calling me a horse's rear, would you?" the trooper angrily asked.

"Nope, I didn't," the farmer replied. "But you just can't fool them flies."

http://www.nationalreview.com/author/56454/latest#

The most dramatic moment came early, when Wisconsin senator Ron Johnson tried to get Clinton to explain why the State Department blamed the September 11 terrorist attacks in Benghazi on an impromptu protest over an anti-Muslim video. In a rehearsed moment of spontaneous outrage, Clinton yelled back, “With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided to kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?”

Well, because you, the President, and the UN ambassador lied. Repeatedly. You Ms. Clinton, lied and then told the father of one of the slain that the person responsible for the video YOU and your boss lied about was going to go to jail.

He did, and is. Parole violation? perhaps, but he's in jail because YOU announced you were going to have him put there and went to jail in a very public manner because your boss wanted to make the point that we, America, would violate out own most important laws to please those who are intolerant of free speech.

I'm not defending the "film maker" ( I've seen better high school projects ) I am condemning a government that promises to punish those who mock Islam. And does.

I read your thesis Ms. Clinton. Well written, bright, and chilling in your embrace of Alinsky and lies. ( Her thesis is essentially a long book report on Saul Alinsky's work in neo-marxist propaganda and "evolutionary" tactics to overthrow the US government from within. ) While I have never seen your boss's thesis, or know his grades, or how he paid for school, I know you were bright, got good grades, and studied hard.

I also know you are a serial liar, secure in your righteousness on any subject, and one of the best, ever, at not answering a question and getting away with it.

What difference does it make?

Simple, you lied, Barry lied. Barry takes all credit for sending S. Rice out to repeatedly lie on tv, and you and they lied for weeks, not out of ignorance or false info from the intel "community", you simply lied to advance your own agenda.

Now you are leaving, and I wish you well in recovering from your injuries, and illness. You were a moderately successful Sec State, considering the agenda of the Admin you were required to push, and it's a pity, in the extreme, that you could not have served your nation under an administration with a rational agenda and world vision. You might have done much better under those conditions. ( diplomats expect each other to be serial liars )

Next up for your Job is John Kerry. Another serial liar, a treasonous cur that gave aid and comfort to the enemy, negotiated with the enemy, and has in many folks opinion, been wrong on every foreign policy decision, ever.

I can't speak for others Ms. Clinton, but I'm looking forward to you destroying Joe Biden when you both run for Barry's job, starting next year. It'll be awesome.
( I'll still vote against you in the election, I don't even care what species your opponent is, but I will applaud your destruction of "it's just Joe". )

When I saw her make that statement about Benghazi my jaw about dropped. Then I forced myself to watch the Obama/Hillary interview and had to turn the channel after I heard no good questions. I do dislike them both, but I would like to think there is some hope left for some real answers but the questions weren't asked. If I were in the press corr I would keep repeating the question... just like when he repeats his statements during his speeches when he belittles the republican party.

Where are the protesters outside the Whitehouse demanding answers? (there should be) Why aren't there anyone camping out in protest like OWS or Anonymous? (there should be some) Their silence speaks volumes. I am dumbfounded.

I thought the idea of skeet shooting was to shoot them while they are still in the air.

Help out those of us who are ignorant of shot guns... Is missing the choke tube an issue? What's a "bottom" choke tube anyway? I only know of a choke tube that goes in the barrel. Admittedly, I know very little about shot guns.

It's a (nice) over under gun, you load it by "breaking" it open, which exposes the top and bottom barrel breach and ejects any old rounds (leaving really cool smoke trails as they arc past your shoulder). You then stuff in two new rounds, snap it closed, and are ready to go again.

There are two triggers in the trigger guard, one in front and one in back.

So it is really two guns welded together. The choke tube screws into the end of the barrel (barrels in this case) and helps shape the shot spread pattern.

So in this case, its a really high end shotgun, but only one barrel has a choke tube in it.

Meaning he may be choosing to shoot only the top barrel and not shooting any doubles or trying any followup shots, which frankly, is pretty mickey mouse. Like riding a motorcycle without learning to shift, just using first gear.

Or maybe he is using two different choke patterns? But in that case, I would think you still need a choke tube in there, just a different one...

Height wise, that is low, but not crazy, depending on how the launcher is aimed.

Good for him for sport shooting. I'd do it two if I had a weekend at camp david.

It's a 2 barreled shotgun.

The single visible choke tube is the light colored ring at the muzzle ( smoke coming out ) end opposite the President.

The choke tubes screw into the end of the barrels and restrict the bore to change the pattern. Often the shotgun is set up with a looser choke on the first barrel and a tighter one on the second, so the first shot is a bigger, close range cloud of fast moving pellets, and the second a smaller one. This is for targets that are going away from you. ( on most double guns you can change which barrel fires first by a switch ( on the trigger guard or tang under your thumb ) or by having 2 triggers, one for each barrel. ) Most things you shoot at with a shotgun and bird shot are going away targets.

The ability to choose the pattern for the range of the shot is most often used in Duck/goose hunting where you get birds at different ranges and angles of approach. ( the exception to the "everything flies away from the hunter" reasoning ) Upland, walking around flushing doves, grouse, pheasant, etc. the "going away" scenario is most common.

This is of course an oversimplification. There are better experts on this subject than me.

Why is the missing tube important?

If no choke tube is present, the bare threads on the inside of the barrel are exposed to the hot gases and plastic wad. In effect giving you a worse that cylinder ( straight tube ) choke, ( a very open and broad pattern ) and crudding up the threads. Crudding up the threads means a long, painful cleaning job to install the choke tube again, so only an idiot shoots a shotgun with the tube removed.

It's possible that the lower choke tube is a shorter one, they make them flush with the end of the barrel for many guns, as well as extended, like the one you can see in the photo, but I've never seen anyone shoot a gun so set up. ( but I don't pay that much attention to the pro skeet guys at the club, I'm more of a rifle shooter )

In skeet, the clay pigeons go from side to side, launched from taller than you houses. ( small, tall shacks ) in trap, the clay discs are launched from a low bunker, the trap house directly in front of you and fly away from you at random angles.

The photo above is of a poor shot, not holding the gun properly, not aiming properly, and with the gun seemingly set up wrong.

The staff at Camp David may not have a shotgun expert to correct these rookie mistakes and teach guests how to shoot properly, but I'm certain someone there is designated armorer to clean and maintain the range & guns for guests. You don't expect a big donor rich guy from Dubai to clean his own shotgun, nor a Senator or President. If the guns are not cleaned and maintained they will be destroyed by the rust and fouling.

In short, the above photo is a badly posed, picture of Obama shooting a gun he has no clue how to use. In shorter form, this guy claiming to shoot skeet "all the time" is a bogus, silly lie.

Many will believe him.

So the info from both of those responses makes sense, except for one thing the doesn't make sense to me. If the plume going up is from a ported barrel, how does that work with an over/under gun. Only the top ported? Seems odd to me, but as I said, my shot gun experience is very limited.

I did read that when BO tried skeet shooting, he was very uncomfortable with it and couldn't get done with it soon enough. I tend to think that this is probably an accurate account of his skeet shooting. The idea that he does this on a regular basis, or even a second time is typical BO propaganda as far as I'm concerned.

I did try it once. I certainly found it fun. That was with a 12 gauge pump though, very different gun. My hits were well below 50% though. My nephew managed to hit, I would guess much closer to 75% having never done that before. He was the best shooter in his company in the marines though.

His should catch sucks, his eyes seem to be fixed on the end of the gun rather than up and out at the target; damn that clay is flying flat.... and I never seen just one barrel choked - but I shot side-bies unstead of over unders. and I thought he was golfing on this day .

or its a photo op - and the first time he has held one.
Point that way, pull the trigger - you only get one shot, First Tee is in twenty minutes !

I bet my nephew takes it to school just for a little controversy (since they banned him from showing his summer shot gun camp fotos at school....- that kind of mischief & trouble runs in the family)

Th ports on the lower barrel are on the top/sides so the gases pass on either side of the top barrel.

Here is the stink coming out of his health department.... if you want to know what the enemy is up to - read their mail, blogs, propaganda.

We cost society money from birth until we begin working, then we are paying back the investment until we retire, when we are again using more resources than we produce. Dying early costs money. It costs a lot of money. From the time we are born, society invests in us. It invests time and money in vaccinations, education, and the time spent away from work by parents and caregivers to raise us. Children are expensive to maintain, but at least once they hit working age they ‘pay back’ the initial investment by earning enough to for society to invest in more children. From the time a child is a couple of months old, if they die before they’ve lived out their economically useful life, it is an economic loss to society.

you are sheep, cattle, hogs, livestock - an investment that the 'village' intends to collect upon.

Sheep that may be harvested, apparently.

In many spy/thriller novels the President of the United States has a secret agent/agency/program that lets him kill enemies secretly. Answerable only to him. Makes for a fun read sometimes, and the bad guy can be the "terrorist leader" OR the President Himself abusing his power.

Rational, real world thinking about the subject tells ME that if you objected to The Patriot Act for Georgie, you should probably be against Barry having the power to murder anyone from above. At whim, with no constraint.

People often approve of power for their President of choice never thinking that the next guy will ALSO have that extraordinary power.

So, to recap.

George Walker Bush got a temporary law that let his agencies talk to one another and tap your phone/read your E mail. ( which the NSA did anyway )

Barack Hussien Obama made the law permanent, made it stronger, and got a new law that lets him kidnap, imprison and hold forever without lawyers or courts or trials or even telling the next of kin that their loved one has been "disappeared". Also claims the power to have you murdered at whim, if HE says you are "suspected" of being a "terrorist", a term he defines.

Jeb Bush inherits the power to imprison and murder at will. How ya feeling now?
