Not surprising. Still not as bad as walking guns into Mexico then having Mexican authorities and the US run media stories about US weapons destroying life in Mexico...until a US agent getting killed had the truth out, that is. Amazing the effort being placed on disarming us. Crazy that nobody is being held accountable for this kinda thing. | ||

So the same government that wants me to keep all my guns locked up inside my locked house, preventing my from quickly accessing it when needed, leaves an automatic weapon in an SUV and it gets stolen. I would really be curious what if anything they did to keep this weapon out of plain sight. Was this a standard thing for them to have an automatic weapon sitting in an SUV unattended. Did they even lock the SUV? I'm sure they will be forthcoming with details on how this was allowed to happen. Also, they didn't have an alarm on their gun store!!!??? I wonder exactly what security they did have beyond glass windows? | ||

And when the landlord presents the ATF with an invoice that includes damages to his store they tell him "...you had better stop contacting us for payment or we will prosecute YOU! And the gov't wonders why we don't trust anything they do anymore. Next time I get pulled over, I'm saying "no comprende"! | ||

I'm sure that all the arrested parties will have lawyers screaming "entrapment". I can understand a sting operation to catch an already wanted criminal, that's like going fly fishing. This is just chucking a stick of dynamite in the water & grabbing everything that floats up. | ||
