I ride my Monster 900 and XB-9R back to back and wonder the same thing....Duck has power everywhere,super-smooth and shifts like butta' but there is no felling like the auto-rotation of the front wheel on my 100H.P '9 when the tach hits 6k! (got the rev limiter set above 8k) | ||

It's got a Ducati tail, a goofy swingarm, and an oil tank in a terrible place. My favorite Ducati thus far has been the Streetfighter S...probably the only bike I've rode that is LESS practical than my S1  | ||

Definitely x1. subframe mounts and the fact it was injected. They had a great idea to put it on a diet, but should've left the oil tank or battery in that huge hole. | ||

Meh. So it's an X1 with a custom swingarm and subframe. Several of those on badweb. They didn't even bother to get tank accents to fill in the holes left by the removal of the airbox and scoop. Perhaps they didn't know they were available. Which is entirely likely, given that they don't know an X1 from and S1. Still, it's better than turning it into a chopper. | ||

Rarely does a custom project succeed. This is not an exception. I agree, much better than chopper abomination. | ||

46 - I went back and read - just seat/subframe. That's it. I think that's not enough to really put so much emphasis on 'ducati' on this bike. But that's just my thought. Its a modified Buell Says swingarm was 'new' but doesn't say from a Duc | ||

Hybrid I am sure you are right the swing arm is not Ducati probably a fabed up unit using the front pivot part of the X1 it came from. | ||

A Ducati subframe and a tail does NOT make a Bucati, but I like to say Bucati. An AirTech tail would make a BuTech? I don't think so. | ||
