just a couple excerpts

1) Harley, meanwhile, recently sold its MV Agusta and Buell units to concentrate on its core brand. “We need to focus on what we do best and have done for 110 years, which is Harley-Davidson, and we’ve got the market share proof for that,” a spokeswoman said.

2) While Polaris is taking pains to keep the two brands separate, its experience building Victory has taught it a lot about motorcycle buyers, said Menneto. “They don’t buy just the machine. They buy the brand, the company, the apparel, the accessories and the connections to fellow riders within the brand,” he said. “All that learning we’re putting into Indian as well.”

It will be interesting to see. Victory has so much potential. I wish they would build something other than cruiser motorcycles.....
it will be interesting to see. I cannot imagine $35,000 plus motorcycles anymore, like the current Indians.
I was talking to a shop the other day. they had a friends indian in there, that had been wrecked......looked good, just scratches here and there. Thousands of dollars in damage, and parts are not readily available.....
We will see.

i would figure in the $range of a comparable HD product.

I also wish the past rumors of a sport bike by Polaris would come true.

But a foray into the currently lucrative Dual Purpose style would likely come first though.
