RG3 is done. Yeah, he'll start at QB again but he'll never be the same.

It must annoy the Jones that the Texans are in and Dallas ain't.

I think the Seahawks will end up playing the 49'ers for the NFL championship. Don't have a feel who will win that game.

Denver and the Patriots will play for the AFC championship. That's going to be a close game but I'll pick the Broncos.

Going to be some good games!

I gotta stay true ans root for my Packers. They have SF this Saturday. They beat us by 7 earlier this year.

The ex-jocks on a pregame show a couple of weeks ago were discussing whether they'd want Peyton Manning or Eli Manning on their team. The consensus was that Eli had the better numbers so they went with him.
Oh yeah? So who's sitting at home right now and who's still in the hunt? Earlier in the season, I picked Seattle to play Denver in the Superbowl. This is the longest I've ever gone before being wrong.

RG3 will be fine, see Adrian Peterson for reference, and Adrian's injury was significantly worse.

I really like Seattle. Lynch is one of my favorite RBs to watch play, and their big, physical corners can handle any WR in the playoffs. Wilson makes up for any size shortfalls by being the most prepared player on the field every game. They got a real shot at stealing the game this week vs ATL I think.

"RG3 will be fine"

Yeah he will heal quickly as young in shape folks do. As for the severity - he went to florida today for a second look. Initial tests revealed damage to the ACL as well as MCL so it could be worse than petersons. We'll see eventually

Griffin's success is based on the idea that Ds have to worry about him running, thus their frozen at the line on play action. If he returns to the game with less than 100% mobility a lot of that threat will be diminished. I see him returning, winning some games, getting hurt and missing some games, coming back to win some more and then getting hurt again in a vicious cycle.

His style of quarter-backing just doesnt fly in the the NFL. The league is just too physical and defenses too fast (how did Vick work out? Any SB rings?)

Hate to sound bitter but I am a diehard Skins fan, after all.

As for Manning vs. Manning :

Big bro - 1 ring, played in a dome, two great long-time receivers, weak division, had to beat rex grossman for title

Lil bro- 2 rings, played in a freezing wind tunnel, myriad of different recievers of varying talent, toughest div in nfl, had to beat Brady for BOTH titles

You do the math

^ dont get me wrong. I really like #18. Most cerebral QB to ever take a snap and I hope he wins it all this year.

But big bro had no running game or def for support. I want to see how he does with Denver cause as a passer he is way better.

Seattle is peaking at the right time, and those steroid corners are brutal. The juice is strong in them.

The Pack/49er game could be Super Bowl worthy.

I heard Griffin's knee contained only partial tears. That was an ESPN report yesterday, and if true it bodes well for him as Petersen's knee had complete tears.

Griffin had complete reconstructive surgery. It was just on NFL network minutes ago. Packers could do it they have 6-1 odds to go to the bowl. They are 3 point underdogs to beat the 49ers. In GB's behalf they are not remotely the same as when they played them last. Hard call still though.

If the Packer beat Mn, would they have been 3pt favorites at home vs San Fran?

Probably, so this game is basically a push.

GB playing on good turf on the road could make this one really interesting.

^ yea - hopefully w/ the same outcome as last year.
My prediction from the start has been 9ers vs. Pats. I think it would be a decent game. I think it would be even better though if Denver won it all.

Great first half between the 49ers/Packers. It's living up to what I thought it would be.

I was highly critical of harbaugh for pulling smith in favor of kaepernick but he must believe in the scramblin man. It will work until some DB twists his knee in a way its not supposed to be twisted.

Kaepernick is showing why that change made sense. Smith will never be a very good NFL QB, but Kaepernick can be. And in this game, he is.
