I remember when Pozi-Driv came out, then Torx, now Mercedes Benz are using reverse Torx so you have to buy more sockets, & then there's canular from FIAT (hehe you'll be getting them on your Dodges soon) & spline head bolts.
Not to mention Allen heads in metric & inches.
Americans used to laugh at us Brit's with our Pounds Shillings & Pence, oh & Guineas too.
Why is it so complicated? why can't you have cent's like everybody else?
So we went metric & joined the EU & got all multicultural.
Now look where we are! |

£1 = 20 shillings.
1 Shilling = 12 pence.
2 Shillings = A Florin.
2 Shillings & 6 pence = Half a Crown.
A Crown = 5 shillings but in my lifetime they've only ever been issued as commemorative pieces.
Half a penny = a Halfpenny (pronounced haypnee)
Half a Ha'penny = a Farthing.
Going the other way, a Guinea is One pound & a shilling. (I have no idea why)
Guineas were the currency of the "well to do".

Yes, but I've only seen hp numbers. If someone could give me torque or the rpm@the hp measured, then bam! Tonnes of TNT ! It would probably be 4x10to the negative 4th power or so, just hip shooting and basically blowing hot air.
