Wow- I kinda dug it! Although I've seen some pristine ElDorado's from that era- they're too pretty to chop- this chop is still pretty cool. Looks like it would sit like a Gurney Gator...

I couldn't comment in the first post because I was, welllll, speechless.

To hear the guy in the vid tell it, the Eldo went almost straight from nice, nearly new stocker to this.

Like you, it brought the Gurney Gator to mind when I first saw it.

I made it through to 1"30 of the video before the barf hit my tonsils & I had to stop it or spew on the keyboard.

"One the coolest pieces of motorcycling history"

Really?

Can I interest you in this bridge I was left by my aunt?

As a one-off piece, even though they did wrong by butchering the Eldo, it's cool as an old-school chop.

One thing that pushes it over into the douche-canoe territory is the "Ice Cream Man From Hell" sticker. Ego so big he had to F up the originality...

It amused me that the builder spent 2 years building it for his wife, and she didn't like it!

A woman with a minimum of taste evidently.
