I am not buying the Obama collusion conspiracy theory as the White House action (actually inaction) could be explained by fear of a repeat of "Black Hawk Down" or "Desert One".
I can accept that this could be a correct assessment for why there was no action taken. To me it shows weakness of the leader. It's decision paralysis. That's not a good thing and doesn't avoid bad consequences. It simply provides cover with the ability to say that you took no actions that created the problem. When you actually take decisive action, you will then get judged on how that action played out. Great leaders have the confidence to make these decisions. BO did nothing.
It's still the cover up that is the biggest crime visible to us at this point, and it's a big one. Treason.

What we DO know about Benghazi-gate has largely been leaked, likely by folks in the know who are NOT going to take the hit for the ch0sen 0ne's failures. The folks in intel - I assume they know EVERYTHING - are surely po'd that they've been blamed for Benghazi.
More questions: WHO made the movie, and WHO distributed/promoted it? Do the good people of the Middle East all sit around their laptops watching YouTube every day?
There will be more "incriminating" news to come before the election, I'm sure. Damn doubtful that much will come from the MSM, unfortunately. Like Steph Cutter has cheerfully said time and time again, "If y'all would just stop talking about Benghazi it'd simply go away."

Lt. Gen. Tom Mcinerney asked “are we brain-dead?” and says that we should have had ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) assets over Libya before the 9/11 attacks ever happened, especially given the fact that radical Islamists were told by Al-Qaeda chief Zawahiri to take out Americans in retribution for our killing of Abu Yahya al-Libi over the summer.
But the most disturbing part of this he says is that during the 9/11 attacks we didn’t even try to save to save our people in Libya, that we didn’t do anything. In fact he goes on to say that whoever gave the “stand down” order to our forces at the annex in Benghazi is responsible for killing Ambassador Stevens and Sean Smith because he believes it’s highly possible that the small force from the Annex could have disrupted the attack and likely saved our Stevens and Smith.

Now then, watch the video I just posted of Lt. Gen. Tom Mcinerney being interviewed above. At the 4:50 mark he says, "Where was General Carter Ham?" in relation to why assets weren't moved to Benghazi during the attack.
No, I don't know what the possible connection is. That said, I'd LOVE to be able to talk one-on-one with General Ham right about now. "Sir, thank you for your service. Now then: What do you know about what happened, and WHY it happened, in Benghazi?"

'Stand Down': U.S. Had Two Drones, AC-130 Gunship, and Targets Painted in Benghazi Awr Hawkins, Oct 27, 2012
Reports indicate two drones and an AC-130 gunship were in the area when Benghazi was attacked, yet their resources were not used.
This runs completely against the current explanation coming out of the White House, which is that Obama did everything he could once he learned of the attack.
You'll remember that in the second presidential debate, Obama said that as "soon as I was aware the Benghazi consulate was being overrun, I was on the phone with my national security team." The not-so-subtle intimation is that Obama was stepping up to the protect the U.S. personnel who were in Libya. And in the wakes of their deaths, which weren't "optimal," we have been assured that stronger action wasn't taken stronger because those options weren't available.
Sec. of State Leon Panetta gave us another version this same excuse, saying: "The U.S. military did not get involved during the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi last month because officials did not have enough information about what was going on before the attack was over."
There are three huge problems with the excuses Obama and Panetta are making.
1. It is now known that the U.S. had two drones in the area -- both of which were filming the attacks, sending back feeds in real time, and at least one of the drone may have been armed.
2. Reports also indicate a Specter gunship, probably an AC-130, was in the area for backup. The gunship could have swooped in and not only leveled the playing field in the match between 50 attackers vs a handful of security personnel, it could have thrown the attack decisively in favor of the security personnel.
3. The security personnel in Benghazi had painted a laser mark on the attackers outside the consulate. This mark would have made possible a response by the drones or the AC-130 routine had they been allowed to zero in on it. The member of the security team who was on the roof of the consulate, spraying machine gun fire down on the attackers, continually asked for backup from the AC-130. It never came.

Interesting Rumor Concerning General Carter Ham and Stand Down Order Oct 26, 2012 9:45 pm
I heard a story today from someone inside the military that I trust entirely. The story was in reference to General Ham that Panetta referenced in the quote below.

The information I heard today was that General Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.
General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.
The story continues that now General Rodriguez would take General Ham’s place as the head of Africon.

As I was typing this I heard John Bolton on Greta say that there are conflicting reports of General Ham’s comments on this tragedy and why a rapid response unit was not deployed. Bolton says someone needs to find out what Ham was saying on 9/11/12.
If I were Gen Rodriguez I would consider resigning. This is a situation where he was both right and wrong.
Right because Ham was a bout to violate orders and possibly cause an international incident( I support Hams' decision btw )
Wrong because 4 men died as result of his following orders which were politically motivated ( I also support Rodriguez decision because orders were given and were to be obeyed even though they were wrong )

The original Watergate break in garnered almost zero attention by the then Media in 1972. The cover up by President Nixon was there to see but no one wanted to see it. It was only through the perseverance of Woodstein and the support of their boss, Ben Bradlee, did this story not die. The currently unfolding Benghazigate is actively being buried by the MSM because they are an arm of the Obama administration. Eventually, the vestiges of journalism that must still exist, will glom onto this story and the truth will be revealed. Somewhere, a young journalist will stand up and do what is right and the story will no longer remain buried.
Obama will most certainly be impeached if we have the misfortune of winning re-election.

Normally, I have no difficulty writing this column. I see it as a way to provide busy readers a coherent narrative of the best of the week's most important news -- largely as reported by the alternative media and ignored by its richer, fatter and lazier media opposition.
This week is sadly different. The latest news coming out about the murder of our ambassador and three other brave Americans in Ben Ghazi is so horrifying and shocking I can take no pleasure in writing about it. It's still largely unreported by the legacy media. Fox News has been a leader and there's been some coverage at CNN by Anderson Cooper, but PBS and the alphabets have been doing their best to keep from you the incompetence, treachery and outrageous behavior of the President, Vice President, Secretaries of State and Defense.

This site gives the endorsements of the top 100 circulation newspapers and is current as of 10/28/2012. It has Obama leading Romney in number of endorsements 33 to 27 but 33 newspapers have yet to make an endorsement. What is really interesting is that the Chicago Sun-Times (Obama's home turf) is no longer makes endorsements. Clicking on the link will show that you can subtract 2.1 million circulation from the Obama column because they represent the New York and LA Times which already reside in Lost States of Mind.

The Benghazi coverup is much worse than you think. Clearly there were air assets on the scene above the CIA annex and they were denied permission to fire.
Tyrone Woods was painting a target with a ground laser designator (GLD). Those are only used when the air asset is overhead, ready to fire. The jihadis can use cell phones with night-vision capabilities to see the laser beam, which then pinpoints the location of the person using the GLD. As a former Navy SEAL, Woods would’ve known that. He would only have exposed himself if he thought that the mortar squad was about to be taken out. The air asset didn’t fire, and Woods and Glen Doherty were killed by the mortar squad.
There was either a Spectre gunship or an armed Predator or Reaper drone overhead, and it was denied permission to fire. That’s the only explanation that fits. Woods would not have used his GLD for any other reason than to paint a target for an immediate air strike.
Only the commander of AFRICOM and the president have the authority to tell the air asset to not fire in this situation.
