I love that people feel the need to tell this forum that they are leaving forever. Why don't people just leave quietly? Personally, I HATE the stupid politics and religion stuff that gets posted over and over. I avoid those threads. Pretty easy. | ||

I stayed away after I sold my Buell not because I was mad but because I missed that bike so much. I started coming back waiting for Erik and crew to release the AT. Of course now I can't buy one, hospital stay for the old ticker, until I pay off those bills. BUT I will own a AT when they come out. | ||

I'd like to announce that I'm staying here forever. It's not necessarily true, but I'll announce it. 10/14/2012 All seriousness aside, I'll miss your posts. But, like all good things, they end. I'm hardly posting anymore, and no one except the patently innocuous ever bother to open my clearly labeled "religion" thread. Too bad. I apologize if my semi-pro three penny opera of blahblahizations offended, but no one has to read them. On the other hand, you are a good verbal jouster, whether right or wrong from my standpoint. Squids, I hate to see you leave but I understand where your coming from. This MOTORCYCLE forum has steadily went downhill with all the political crap that is posted on here. Maybe you should do like I do, any idiot that goes on a MOTORCYCLE forum to tell me how to vote, well I'm certainly not going to listen to them! Likewise, any fool that posts on a political forum how to fix my motorcycle, well I'm not going to listen to them either! Same difference!! | ||

Brad, being friends with you, I'm just guessing that even though you said you are done with this forum you will come back to read these follow up posts on this thread. Ergo I am going to say you have too many friends here and enjoy it too much to stay away.  If you never post again you will have become a lurker! Squids...I'm sure there are folks who just don't bother to visit anymore without saying goodbye. I have a little amusing game I play every time I read a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with politics. I try to predict when someone pops in an says "Obama made them do it." or something to that effect. It is usually within the first page. That's when I stop reading that thread and move on to another tread or site. I've learned a bunch on BW over the years about motorcycles and shared quite a few tricks myself, but all the negative dribble is disappointing. | ||

Other than the great fight scene in "Rob Roy" ( a movie no one saw because "Braveheart" came out about the same time. ) Fencers I know much prefer the one shot zap to the heart. Or throat. They only "play" with people if they have to work for it. Sorry a joke, ( funny or not ) on a thread on fences torques off someone enough to lose their temper. It's an election year. So we argue. If you don't want to hear politics, I can understand, but other than going to a nice dictatorship, that's just the way it is. For man. For all of history. Think about your poor mail delivery person. For months, it's a constant stream of razor sharp, oversize, political ads, many of which have blatant lies in bold typeface that he or she knows are utter crap. I know about PO folks I was married to one for 9 years If the PO was under the same rules as the real world most people in it would be in Jail. Its a wonder they get any thing delivered they spend more time torturing each other and managment than they do delivering mail. My ex was asked to join a lawsuit over blond jokes. Now no knew what the suit was about till they did depos and they were told they couldnt discuss the case with any one. Interviews went on for about a week then it was her turn. They asked her how she felt about the ABUSIVE blond jokes and if she would testify about how it made her feel and the impact one her life. When they finally let her speak she explained she brought them in She is a blond Norskie end of case I have many of these stories about the nut case PO folks. | ||
