I needed tires REALLY bad so decided to change the wheels as well. Found this used set of H3 wheels on eBay. Painted the centers and the solid spoke gloss black. Then I had some decals made of the Colorado logo to go on the solid spoke similar to the Hummer logo like the H3 comes with from the factory.

Here is what they look like installed with a set of Cooper Discoverer AT 265/75R16 tires.

I'll get some better pics of it in the daytime and off the lift ASAP.

What do ya think?

Nice.
Looks factory. I guess it makes sense to make the lug patterns the same across a few product lines.

Yeah the H3 is essentially a Colorado with a new body. Lots of H3 stuff fits the Colorado.

Nice, I like the Cooper Discoverer tyres too, had them on my last Dodge, they stick nicely & wear pretty well too, plus they're not too expensive.

Looks great!

I love making things custom with factory parts, makes people scratch there heads.

I have been looking for a set of vette or camaro rims for my 2000 S-10.

I was stopped next to an H3 this morning thinking about this thread. Gave me a chance to see it in it's natural habitat. Great way for a cheap modification of the H3 parts!

Now I'm thinking....

I wonder how aluminum rims from a civic would look like on my fit?

IMO a blue or silver Fit looks fantastic with some bronze Volk type wheels. Not cheap, but damn they look cool. I love Fits. Neat cars!

I like changing things up too. Here's my 96 Maxima with 18" Murano rims and lowered 2". I've had folks tell me that it looks stock.

oh and I just went over 63K on it. Not bad for a 16 year old car. lol

Great stance bro.

The great thing about OEM wheels from other vehicles is that they are cheap!

I put Infiniti FX-35 wheels on my Juke. It took a lot of research on offset and spacing, but it worked.

Looks nice, guys! I haven't done much for looks sake, but I typically try to find some sort of used OEM take off alloy for snow tires as they tend to cost about as much as steel wheels a lot of times for some reason.

I had a 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS/SC that I used polished 17" HHR wheels for the snows. Sold them to a guy who put them on a Saab.

Then I had a 2010 Mazdaspeed3 that I had older Mazda 6 alloys for snows. Tight, but it fit. Sold to another guy with a Mazda 3.

Now I have a 2002 Camaro SS with the extra-wide chrome 17" ZR-1's on it, but I run a set of stock 16" Trans Am wheels for the winter.

Looking to move to a new Focus ST... not sure what I'll do for snows on that one, yet...

Other wheels of the compact Ford range such as Fiesta or C-Max.

I have a set of steels with winter tyres for Mme G's Focus.

http://www.wheelfitment.net/ford

If your Focus is the 5 x 108 fitment, I'm pretty sure the 1st gen Taurus has the same pcd, not sure about the bore though.

It is the 5x108 pattern. Despite the big brakes, they come with a 16" steelie for a spare, not sure if it's a unique spare, though.

Same as I've got.

My old Lancia Kappa had the same stud pattern but the offset & bore are different.

Whatever wheels you put on the Focus, NO Continental tyres, unless you like a lot of noise.

Gschuette.... Do me a favor and measure the hub hole diameter on those H3 wheels for me. I have a set of center caps that would look BADASS on those wheels if the opening is the right size. They would not work on my S-10 (which I need to put pics of up) but might work on those wheels. Then get some black acorn nuts and DONE!!

Test drove that Focus ST on Saturday. What a sweet little machine that is. Nowhere near as epic or violent in accelleration as my current ride, but it makes up for it with superb handling, road holding, brakes and all kinds of gizmo gadgetry.

Now just trying to find a buyer for my car... 350hp rear drive coupe is a hard sell in October in the north...

XL1200R-
are you Interested in selling off a set or rims for the Camaro?

either trans-am or ZR-1's would look sweet on my s-10
(the trans am's would look better on the bank account I am sure)

ZR-1s stay with the car as they were original equippment from SLP. I'd like to get rid of the Trans Am wheels, but I can't before the car is sold and I'd prefer to keep them a package with the snows that are on them. They're not a very popular size and I think might be hard to sell on their own.
