I know general parts availability has been discussed before but this question is specific.

After 4 months & a lot of grief (that's still not over) the insurance company assessors are saying that my Super TT may be economically repairable.

BUT!!

I'm hearing varying stories about availability of a new frame, some sources say "No longer available".
Some, including the dealer that has the bike, say "Available, but open ended delivery time."
Others say "No Prob".

The dealer also says that they've been waiting over 8 months on a wiring loom for another bike.

Anybody got any firm info please?

The only really firm thing I'm sure of; it's sounding like getting that Cyclone going was a very good idea!

Well today the point has become moot.
Insurance assessors have revised their damage estimate & it's not economically repairable.

To be honest, after 4 months & all this hassle it's turned me off the bike. They're going to pay me a more than fair price so I can't argue, time to move on.

My crystal ball shows a Stelvio in my future, to park next to the M2 to be sure.

Guzzi would be on my extremely short list, too... the Griso is speaking to me these days.

I considered a Stelvio to replace my lost Uly but at nearly 600 lbs I wouldn't want to drop one off road. I'd like a V7 for knocking around town on.

Strokizator, I took a demo one out for an hour yesterday.

Yes it's a big lump standing still, but I couldn't believe how light & nimble it is as soon as it's moving.

The guy in the dealers is a former Buell owner & told me to be gentle with the gearshift, as there's no need to stamp it into gear.
He was right, smooth as butter, not even a clunk.
