For perspective, the Obama adminstration pushed hard give money to Solyndra, which resulted in a $500M loss to taxpayers (3 times what it would have cost to keep full funding for embassy security, construction, and maintenance).

I guess if you want embassy security, you should donate more to the Obama campaign, be a green energy company, and make friends in the Chicago machine.

Reep, succinct and well said.

On a separate note: God bless the Commonwealth of Virginia:

quote:

Virginia Elementary School Rejects Michelle Obama Request To Speak
A Chesterfield County elementary school in Virginia rejected First Lady Michelle Obama’s request to speak on Thursday, citing school policy.

By Tony Lee, Sep 14, 2012

Tim Bullis, the school division’s community relations director, told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that School Board policy 6100 prohibits “the use of school facilities during the school day for political purposes.”

Jim Holland, the only Democrat on the school board, said the school board’s denial would be appropriate if the Obama campaign’s request was for a political event, but the board could have allowed Michelle Obama to speak if the request had been for an event designated as “non-political” or “official.”

The Obama campaign said “any time the campaign looks at venues for events, we consider a range of options” and “the school was only one of several options being considered in the greater Richmond area ...”

This is the third time in the last month the Obama campaign has been denied use of a venue the campaign would have preferred in Virginia. The University of Virginia rejected the Obama campaign’s request to use its Charlottesville campus for a campaign event and the owner of the “Crumb And Get It” bakery rejected a request by Vice President Joe Biden’s staff to use the store for a campaign event because the owner disagreed with Obama’s “you didn’t build that” comment.

Now, there is no indication that the Prez hates Jesus. He simply belongs to a church that distorts the Bible and the words of Jesus to gain power for evil men.

Here's a few references to help you understand that Obama does NOT hate Jesus. ( the rest of your statement I have no argument with. )

Alas, politics in inseparable from religion in this case because this religion is a created political movement, an exploitation of Christianity, and it's ideals.

To Conclude...

Using language like that, Cowboy, is far more likely to get you branded a fool, than given consideration that your view is valid. Sure, Obama's an American Hating Commie &&(^%.... but that is EXACTLY what the Lefties are saying YOU say, to tar you with the brush of idiot redneck.

Truth has nothing to do with perception, and the leftists have done an excellent job of masking their intent and making the worst cult in history ( with the highest death toll, ever ) acceptable, and it's opposition, fringe.

Cowboy, I came to the conclusion long ago - based on everything I've read about the chosen one, and his words and actions since his miraculous ascension to the WH - that the chosen one actually hates HIMSELF. I think he is absolutely consumed with angst for who he is. I know this sounds snarky, and it kinda is, but it would explain his constant need to be the smartest one in the room (or the world), if you catch my drift.

If you (or anyone else reading this) haven't read any of his multiple novels, I mean biographies, even a quick lap through one is an absolute eye-opener into his soul. "Dreams" is a good place to start.

Thanks for listening.

It's no mystery the feckless lapdog mainstream media is in the tank for the chosen one. I've yet to truly come to grips with the reasoning of why this is so, but it's a sad fact - the mainstream media is as corrupt as our Narcissist in Chief.

As such, it's damn hard to keep up with the subtle (and often not-so-subtle) spins and/or outright lies from the MSM as they desperately try to shield their fearless leader from the truth in the final days of the run-up to the election.

Andrew Breitbart lives, however. Here is an interesting, unique, real-time resource that exposes the belly of the beast for all to see. It's a running update of media corruption, a well-documented running expose of the feckless lapdog media's coordinated effort to keep the chosen one in power by any unscrupulous means possible. See link at the end of my post.

I keep harping about media bias. I don't watch TV (don't even have one), and don't read any newspapers. I get my news from the internet, from multiple sources. Yes, I'm a conservative, but it doesn't mean I take conservative news as gospel. The beauty of getting my news from the 'net is that I get to drive the car, instead of the car driving me.

There will come a day (which will come sooner rather than later if the chosen one somehow manages to win reelection) in which the almighty government (the one thing we ALL belong to, if you buy into the chosen one's sermon from the DNC) owns the internet, too, and carefully but surreptitiously controls the content.

They monitor the hell out of it now, to be sure. But, for now, WE still get to drive.

I'm rambling; sorry.

Here's the link I mentioned above. Follow it or not. If you care about our country, at least CONSIDER the fact that everything you see on TV, or hear on the radio, or read in the newspaper, is carefully crafted to shape your opinion. Whose opinion are you being led to? Easy; follow the money.

Question EVERYTHING you hear or see in "the news." You owe it to yourself.

And you owe it to your country.

Sure, O hates himself. His therapy is to take it out on everyone else.

Now would be the perfect time to close bases and consulates throughout the muslim world, evacuate Afghanistan, etc. Give it back to the poppy growers, bandits, beggars, goat fornicators and associated flotsam and jetsam. Why?

This would save a lot of US taxpayer $ AND create an incredible vacuum by our absence, plus the loss of our foreign aid. Party on, muslims.

Mr Grumpy, it seems Brzezinski and Kissinger have been around meddling in affairs forever. I think they have an elixir to long life they're not telling anyone about. Soros is another one. 82 years old, still has his marbles and has a new bit of fluff half his age (no, she's not a fluffy white cat) ; ).

Moxnix, can't give it back to the poppy growers. Need the revenue stream to fund the black ops programmes. And the troops need to stay to guard the huge mineral wealth for the banksters so the Ruskies can't get it. That'll be the next President's orders as well.

As for the US taxpayer $. That is your purpose in life, isn't it? To pay, to maximise corporate profits for the multi-nationals who are based in 'nowhere land'. Anyway, what else you going to do? Sit around Bonneville Salt Flats reflecting on life and having fun?

Peace be damned. Kaching! Kaching!

Mr. President: Allen West would like to have a word or two with you. You prolly oughta put on your big-girl panties first, though, OK?

Now then, listen up:

quote:

In this week's address, Congressman Allen West, a Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, discusses the deadline for the sequester, and the White House's devastating inaction on what was originally their idea. The Republican-led House has proposed responsible replacements to the sequester's historically crippling across-the-board cuts to our nation's military. The recent vicious attacks on embassies in the Middle East underscore the need to preserve our military strength. The president and Senate Democrats must put aside partisan politics to work with us to preserve our military and replace the sequester.

Mr. West, you rock.

We've a whole new problem on our hands thanks to Barack Obama having his head in the sand.

This last attack was as professionally executed as any American Special Forces Unit could pull off.

Planning had to take months. 3 groups of 5 each breach one of the most secure military installations, direct precision indirect fire into hangers and total 5 fighter jets, damage several others and kill two Marines.

It's a whole new world . . . and the "official" position of The White House is essentially that it was a flash mob that got out of control.

I think that's what they think Pearl Harbor was. An unfortunate misunderstanding brought about by American Aggression and sanctions.

History doesn't really repeat, but it sure does rhyme.

Jimmy Carter was told the Ayatollah was a "saint" who spoke of God almost continuously and wanted only peace.

Here we are.

Flash Mob?

Hillary...“We condemn in the strongest terms this senseless act of violence.”

This is not senseless. You may be, but the planet wide attacks carried out by plan in multiple countries with high success, make PERFECT SENSE. ( smartest guy in every room, smartest women in politics..... Really? Seriously? )

I've stated several times recently my belief that even the feckless lapdog mainstream media will eventually turn on the big 0. I'm seeing more and more signs of this transformation beginning to take place. An example:

quote:

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice said the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi last week was not premeditated, directly contradicting top Libyan officials who say the attack was planned in advance.

“Our current best assessment, based on the information that we have at present, is that, in fact, what this began as, it was a spontaneous – not a premeditated – response to what had transpired in Cairo,” Rice told me this morning on “This Week.”

...Rice’s account directly contradicts that of Libyan President Mohamed Yousef El-Magariaf, who said this weekend that he had “no doubt” the attack was pre-planned by individuals from outside Libya.

“It was planned, definitely, it was planned by foreigners, by people who entered the country a few months ago, and they were planning this criminal act since their arrival,” Magariaf told CBS News.

Source (and read more): http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/09/ambas sador-susan-rice-libya-attack-not-premeditated/

So, like, who ya gonna believe?!?!?

If the chosen one loses the suckling support of his feckless lapdog mainstream media (including ABC, as but one example), he might as well impale himself on a meat thermometer and pronounce himself done.

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood President Leads, Obama Follows
By Ben Shapiro, Sep 16, 2012

Today, UN Ambassador Susan Rice explained to Jake Tapper of ABC News that America wasn’t “impotent” in the Middle East. What was her proof?

quote:

"Let's look at what's happened. It's quite the opposite of being impotent. We have worked with the governments in Egypt. President Obama picked up the phone and talked to President Morsi in Egypt. And as soon as he did that, the security provided to our personnel in our embassies dramatically increased."

Tapper rightly pointed out that for two days, Egyptian President Morsi, an anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, anti-American Muslim Brotherhood leader, said nothing. But Rice continued:

quote:

"President Morsi has been out repeatedly and said that he condemns this violence. He's called off -- and his people have called off any further demonstrations and have made very clear that this has to stop."

If this is demonstration of American influence and power in the Middle East, we’re in serious trouble. Far from Morsi taking American cues this week, President Obama took Morsi’s cues. Morsi was the tip of the spear during the Arab Spring; now he’s dictating the politics of the Islamist Uprising. This week, he told Obama to jump; Obama asked how high.

It began with the attacks on the Cairo embassy themselves. The Cairo embassy tweeted before the attacks, upon hearing rumors that they were coming, that they condemned “the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims.” After the attacks commenced, the embassy tweeted, “This morning’s condemnation (issued before protest began) still stands.”

For two days after this, President Morsi said nothing. President Obama did nothing about it.

Meanwhile, it was revealed that while President Obama would not meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the end of this month in New York, he would be getting together with the tight-lipped Islamist fanatic Egyptian president.

When Morsi finally did speak, he informed President Obama that while he condemned the assaults on the US embassy and would up security, he wanted President Obama to “to put an end to such behavior.” He was referring, of course, to the infamous YouTube video “Innocence of Muslims,” which supposedly spurred the riots – although it is now clear that the videos had virtually nothing to do with the riots, or the attack on our consulate in Libya that ended with the murder of our ambassador.

This was Morsi saying jump. And President Obama predictably asked how high. First, he tried to tell YouTube and Google to remove the video from the internet. Then, when YouTube and Google refused, the filmmaker behind “Innocence of Muslims” found himself being questioned by federal probation officers.

We still live in a First Amendment country. But you wouldn’t know it to hear Obama and his spokespeople, particularly from the State Department, talk. Today, Rice termed “Innocence of Muslims” a “heinous,” “offensive,” “reprehensible,” “disgusting” piece of work that hadn’t been endorsed by the US government. As for the attacks on our embassies? Well, she just said there was “no excuse” for them. From her language, it’s clear that Rice was more upset about the YouTube video than she was about the attacks.

Why? Because the Obama administration must remain focused on the video. The moment they acknowledge that Americans have First Amendment rights, and that the video and its content are utterly irrelevant, they have to face the sad truth that it isn’t a video that caused all of this – believe it or not, YouTube and anti-Islam sentiment existed before last Tuesday – but the Obama administration’s gutless and spineless foreign policy.

While Obama keeps trotting out spokespeople to claim that the American hand remains at the steering wheel in the Middle East, it’s clear that we don’t. We’ve handed over the wheel to Muslim Brotherhood radicals like Muhammed Morsi. And now we’re taking cues from them.

Roderick: Thank you for your service, and your patriotism.

America was duped in 2008; too many fell for the flashy smile and the lofty rhetoric.

This, combined with absolutely no vetting by the media and an extraordinarily weak Republican presidential candidate, spelled gloom, at best, and doom, at worst, for our Republic.

I consider our current president a grave warning shot across our country's bow, and I'm encouraged by the fact that FINALLY, in the run-up to the election, so many otherwise complacent Americans are wiping the sleepy dust from their eyes and actually paying attention for a change.

It's not too late to save America. Our current president has damaged us very badly, but we still have a chance to save ourselves.

For ourselves, and for our children, and for their children, and for their children...

Please vote wisely, America.

Thanks again, Roderick.

Best,
Ferris

'The Hope and The Change' Movie to Air on Broadcast, Cable TV
By Tony Lee, Sep 17, 2012

"The Hope and the Change,” the movie about Democrats and independents who voted for President Barack Obama in 2008 and will not do so in 2012, will air on a dozen television stations this fall leading up to the presidential election, Citizens United announced on Monday.

Citizens United produced the film and has struck a deal to begin airing the movie on six broadcast stations and six cable stations beginning Tuesday on HDNet and through November’s presidential election. It will reach 130 million households and air on broadcast stations in Indiana, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Hawaii, and Colorado. The movie will air on cable channels such as FamilyNet, Rural TV, and HDNet movies.

Why is this good news for you? Because, instead of listening to ME, a right-leaning conservative who didn't vote for Obama in 2008, tell you why you shouldn't vote for him this time around, you get to listen for 40 articulate, well-educated and well-spoken Democrats and Independents who voted for Obama in 2008 tell you why THEY are not are voting for him this time around.

Put another way: These fine folks are voting for Mr. Romney in 2012.

And the good news is, they're gonna tell you exactly why that is.
