Just wanted to post because I was feeling good.
Just got hired on at a HOME improvement national chain store.

I'll get to leave a job that I am unhappy at, and make a couple dollars more per hour.

Im just feeling good.
I see more parts for my S3 in the near future : )

Well done mate.

Mrs G has 22 years of home improvement stores, all with the same company.

They're great places to work, because when the economy is good people spend to improve their houses, & when it's bad people spend on diy to save money.

cycledon - the HD

Working at a chain craft store, and while there are good days/nights, overall I've never been happy. I've only been there six months, and its been some of the worst months I've ever had while working. Just aggrivating. Some of the management decisions (which I like all of the managers, just the way the company operates), the way the schedule is (no asking for time off, have to find someone to cover for you...which is hard when no one wants to work a 13 hour sunday)

And the pay is poor, just over minimum wage
So getting an offer for a more stable job which pays more really excites me.

A few extra dollars in my pocket and, hoping, a bigger smile on my face day-to-day

I work for the Home Depot. Seven years the first time and going on six years the second time around. I'm a Millwork Department Supervisor the same field I've worked in the last 38 years now. You have some good days and there are some bad ones. I think it's called work.

Hope you enjoy your new job!

Congratulations...

I've always said the best way to find a better job is to have any job to begin with.

One thing invariably leads to another!
