if our current spending trend continues is it very likely that we will reach a point where our entire economy collapses as we know it? are there safeguards in place that can prevent a full SHTF collapse? I havent until recently been following this situation very closely. It seems that it is inevitable even if Obama gets voted out. With the entire baby boomer moving to retirement and drawing government funds as well as their spending dropping off it seems that its certain that we wont get better until we get worse?

havent had a tv in three years. my spidee senses are all too tied to economic history of what has happened before to other declining debt ridden nation states.

when we can't pay the cash - we have to forfeit land, resources, labor .... oh wait, you mean those 257 SOVEREIGN Chinese 'international' free trade zones on US Soil ?

tochna.

There's nothing you can do about it. Don't worry. What you can do is prepare yourself. Minimize debt, learn a trade, learn to garden, etc. Prepare yourself for the worst, so if it's not a total collapse, it won't seem that bad.

Now that the former siege of the once ostracized communist block has ended;
(The USSR,China, EastBerlin,Viet-nam and others like India, to name just a few); Hundreds of Millions of people are now able to supply the demands of the world.
Work ethic is the answer, better quality at a more competitive price.
I look for the best quality and value for money,no matter where it's made.
