Jon Lord of Deep Purple died today. RIP to a true master of the keys. Lazy from 1972. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uflsjU95lRM |

Damn, awesome musicians are dropping like flies this year. The man could get a wicked tone out of a Hammond B3. RIP Jon. (Message edited by Hughlysses on July 17, 2012) |

I'm a big fan of Deep Purple. Jon Lord's fingers on the old Hammond is a large part of it - the intro to Lazy gives me religion. He'll be missed. (Message edited by schwiiing on July 18, 2012) |

Man, that is a major bummer. Deep Purple, Jon Lord and the "Beast" are forever burned into Rock and Roll history. A month or so back I went through a whole bunch of Jon Lord videos on Youtube, they were great. RIP Jon, you WILL be remembered. Brad |
