OK guys and girls. It is time to pony up for Obama. FB1, Court, Blake, City, Sifo, and the 3 other Badwebbers that post in these political threads, step up and donate.

https://contribute.barackobama.com/donation/index. html

Romney never ceases to amaze in his lies keep getting bigger. Your donation to Obama will help get rid of this scourge.

It is nice to post on Badweb but the Righties and Regressives simply refuse to use their brains and are characteristically silent with their support for this jerk.

Obama will restore confidence in the private sector. Romney will continue to alienate the source of innovation and business in America.

So pony up people. It is time.

Tom, thanks for the link. I've set up a monthly donation via Mr. Romney's donation page (https://www.mittromney.com/donate). It isn't much, but every little bit helps.

Thanks again, amigo.

The $64,000 Question: How Much Has Debt Increased Per Taxpayer Under Obama?
By Terence P. Jeffrey, July 12, 2012

The national debt has now increased by more than $64,000 per federal taxpayer since Barack Obama was inaugurated president.

At the close of business on Jan. 20, 2009, according to the U.S. Treasury, the total debt of the federal government was $10,626,877,048,913.08. By the close of business on July 10, 2012, that debt had climbed to $15,885,854,755,351.47 — an increase of $5,258,977,706,438.39.

Obama has increased our national debt by 50% in just three and a half years. That's an amazing achievement by anyone's standards. Wow, just think of the hope and change he could accomplish if he gets reelected!

Bravo, Mr. Obama. You're the frikkin' man.

... Righties and Regressives simply refuse to use their brains and are characteristically silent with their support for this jerk.

I suppose "righty" is correct for me. I'm anti-communist, anti fascist, and anti the leftist ideology of "progressivism". Partly, I admit, because I grew up with multiple multi megaton nuclear missiles aimed at my house. ( ok, they were aimed at the SAC base next door, but Soviet ICBM's were so inaccurate, that moving a hundred miles away still put us in the impact zone. ) I also admit my bias against leftism is based on the hundreds of millions of people murdered by their own governments.

It's always a thing of wonder to think rational beings would support that ideology, if they were not the evil men who profit from it.

Buellinmke, were you aware that Obama is steeped from childhood in that ideology? That his church is that ideology? That his appointments to positions of power are often people who share that ideology? A very racist ideology that thrives on hate and the loathing for us common peasant types? Led by evil men who know they are born to rule?

I'll skip the millions killed in WW2, a war started by socialists, the Jews, Gypsies and gays murdered by the millions by socialists, and the millions of German POWs murdered by Communists, since the power hungry men in charge, in a different age, would have used other religions to gain power and murder those who would stand against them. Please note the French Revolution, the Terrors, the Gulags, and the forced labor camps. All that death and pain, created by people the President Envies and Craves the power they hold. Power beyond the reach of law. Power not granted by the people, but taken from them.

Ask A Russian. Ask a woman from China. Ask a Vietnamese refugee. Ask a Jew. Good luck finding a Gypsy.

So, yeah. I'm a bit right.

Regressive? propaganda. bite me.

As to support for that jerk? Not so much. I don't like him. He's rich, out of touch, and a pro politician. That's enough to keep you off my Xmas list.

Obama is also rich, out of touch, and a pro politician. He also has often spoken badly of me and mine, and promised higher taxes, higher energy costs, and more power. For him.

So given the choice, and ignoring the personalities as much as possible, I have little choice but to support the guy who is not allied in spirit with the greatest mass murderers in the history of the planet.

Unfortunately that means I'll have to vote for...shudder...Mitt.

Not the guy who appoints people who think Mao is great.

This is part of what I have been trying to say about the problem with the Left.

""Don't repeat conservative language or ideas, even when arguing against them."

That bit of advice, No. 1 on a list titled "The 10 Most Important Things Democrats Should Know," comes from the promotional material for "The Little Blue Book: The Essential Guide to Thinking and Talking Democratic" by George Lakoff and Elisabeth Wehling. "

There you go again. The Left could care less about your facts and arguments. They want to steal from the "rich" (read the middle class) to finance the growth of an all intrusive government. Sorry, can't help myself. :-)

However.........just as you were once a liberal but finally saw the "right" light, so, too, may others also come to what you and I know to be truth. I know in my heart that there are many folks who follow these threads yet who never post (which is perfectly fine, of course), but who are watching, listening, and thinking.

Some of these folks are undoubtedly liberals, and at this point in Mr. Obama's miserably failed presidency, will read conservative viewpoints and may have an epiphany.

We need every vote we can muster come November. Nothing less than the future of America is at stake. As much as I can, given the constraints upon me, I will continue to do my part to help educate, educate and empower via this board.

Yeah, I know it ain't much, but it's something, and every little bit helps.

Our Constitution is designed to limit the weasels power grabs.
The framers knew how evil men are and formed a document to limit thier ability to seize power.
As obama learned its a document of negative libertys as far as gov goes.
The people grant goverment limited powers We the People are the power not the empolyee we delegate to do our business. When the employee forgets who the boss is he is fired. In obamas case Nov 2nd he gets his notice.

The Federal Deficit just hit $904 Billion in June. Obama will be the first president to incur a TRILLION dollars of debt a year for every year in his presidency. And ObamaCare hasn't even kicked in yet. This nonsense will end, one way or the other.

President Bush must be secretly the smartest, evil genius on the planet to cause this to happen.

Three cities in California have just declared bankruptcy and this is only the beginning. What happens in California, eventually happens in your state. The best way to curb this is to restore confidence in the private sector. Who do you think can best achieve this: Obama (who channels Bush) or Romney?

Pony up $3 for Mitt. Do it now.

Tom, a question for you (since no one else has answered me on this one yet): If the President calls in UN "peacekeepers" to, um, keep the peace (for whatever reason he so chooses), are these "peacekeepers" beholden to honor our constitution?

quote:

The UN's Assault on Gun Rights
July 13, 2012

The United Nations is now considering its Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), a document that threatens Second Amendment rights of American citizens. The treaty must clear many hurdles before that threat comes to fruition, but we must remain aware and active in opposing it.

In 2009, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution to hold a conference to draft the ATT. That conference began July 2 -- ironically, just as we celebrated our Independence from tyranny. Details will be crafted throughout July, but the push is well underway to regulate the trade of weapons around the globe. Some nations say the treaty shouldn't regulate domestic arms sales, but others -- notably, Mexico -- say that not even individual rights should excuse "products traded without controls." Mexico has long blamed American guns for its own drug war, a con in which the Obama administration has been complicit [[i.e., Fast and Furious - FB]].

...Meanwhile, Investor's Business Daily notes a typical UN irony: "Just as the world's worst human rights violators sat on and often chaired the U.N. Human Rights Council, Iran, arms supplier extraordinaire to America's enemies, was elected ... to a top position [at the conference]. This came right after the same U.N. found Iran guilty of illegally transferring guns and bombs to the murderous Syrian regime of Bashar Assad."

The UN arguably was never a good idea, but, particularly in recent decades, it has devolved into an international club for anti-American dictators, thugs and socialists. To add insult to injury, we provide the lion's share of the UN's funding.

UN-believable
By Oliver North, July 13, 2012

...The Syrian civil war is increasingly deadly -- and a vivid reminder of what happens when the fate of a nation is placed in the hands of dithering diplomats at the United Nations. Everyone ought to know by now that U.N. bluster about serious "consequences for noncompliance" and utopian talk about a "transitional government in Damascus" are futile. And that's in keeping with the U.N. track record on everything from stopping Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and the means of delivering them to the disaster in Somalia.

These failures go beyond the intransigence of Beijing and Moscow. They also point to the naiveté, incompetence and corruption in the "world body," as the U.N. bills itself.

...Last year, the U.S. forked over more than $8 billion to the U.N. -- about 25 percent of the organization's budget. Apparently, that's not enough. This week, the U.N. told its 193 member countries that "donor nations" will have to increase their "contributions," and it has suggested "voluntary taxes" on carbon emissions, billionaires and currency transactions.

Obama or Romney. Republicans or Democrats. Divide and Rule.

Each a wing of the same bird American Eagle.

"I refer you to the UNITED STATES CODE (note the capitalization, indicating the corporation, not the Republic) Title 28 3002 (15) (A) (B) (C). It is stated unequivocally that the UNITED STATES is a corporation [see note]. Realize, too, that the corporation is not a separate and distinct entity from the government. It IS the government. YOUR government. This is extremely important. I refer to this as the "corporate empire of the UNITED STATES," which operates under Roman Civil Law outside of the Constitution. How do you like being ruled by a cheesy, sleazy corporation? You'll ask your Congressperson about this, you say? HA!! "

While I share your cynicism, there IS a difference.

One party has a solid record of racist gun control, the other, not.

One party is in power and has not passed a budget. It's been years.

One party in currently run by country club lefties... ok, both are.

Our best hope is that the Tea party guys can swing the R's towards a more centrist position, overall. I see no such reforming force for the D's, do you?

The biggest difference IMHO between the parties is the R's will turn and destroy at once those who look bad. Tap a shoe under a bathroom stall...you're outta here. A little campaign donations scandal? Don't let the door hit you in the butt.

Sure, the good old boys protect their own, both parties, but the media won't let the R's get away with it... if only they were unbiased in doing so, we'd be far better off.

but the media won't let the R's get away with it...

"Back in 1983, approximately 50 corporations controlled the vast majority of all news media in the United States. Today, ownership of the news media has been concentrated in the hands of just six incredibly powerful media corporations. These corporate behemoths control most of what we watch, hear and read every single day. They own television networks, cable channels, movie studios, newspapers, magazines, publishing houses, music labels and even many of our favorite websites. Sadly, most Americans don't even stop to think about who is feeding them the endless hours of news and entertainment that they constantly ingest. Most Americans don't really seem to care about who owns the media. But they should.

The six corporations that collectively control U.S. media today are Time Warner, Walt Disney, Viacom, Rupert Murdoch's News Corp., CBS Corporation and NBC Universal.

It is the "big six" that are the biggest concerns. When you control what Americans watch, hear and read you gain a great deal of control over what they think. They don't call it "programming" for nothing."

"A corporation is simply an entity which makes its own rules for its own employees and for its own structural operation. The US government, which is on a ten acre parcel of property in Washington D.C. (District of Columbia), outside the United States of America is a corporation that has taken on the role of a quasi-government, but which has no legal authority to do so.

The Federal government, which is foreign to the United States of America, which is located in the District of Columbia, which is not part of the United States and which is in fact controlled to a great extent by the international bankers and by the laws and rules of the United Nations, whereby this Federal Washington D.C. state or country, has set itself up as a control over the United States of America as a quasi-government.

This indicates that elected officials residing outside of the United States of America in Washington D.C., are not actually employees or officials of the United States of America, or its rules. The states' rules do not apply. The states' Constitution does not apply to these entities in Washington D.C. because they are acting outside the country in this second nation known as the Federal government."

"To what may we attribute the impending death of our once great nation and the slave status of once-free Americans? Who is to blame for her state of bankruptcy and vulnerability?
We are, by our silence. Our lack of involvement is our acquiescence."

International treaties supercede US law, since they become US law. So a ban on private ownership of weapons is perfectly legal, despite it being our #2 law.

I don't really see the point in the "corporate" aspects of the country? The 5.56x45 rounds fired at us hurt the same. ( though it's a different committee now that will decide if you are worth the medical attention provided by your masters )

It's also a bit futile to blame the "fat cat bankers" ( Obama's term ) that we have borrowed so much from since our politicians seem incapable of NOT trying a bread and circuses approach to keeping their jobs in near perpetuity. If not for Congress passing such laws, usually without reading them, we would not be vassals to faceless masters.

I also caution you that the use of certain phrases have a long tradition. Class envy works. Speeches by certain politicians using the tactic of envy and hatred ( one is the cause of the other, on purpose ) have the goal of violence against, or at the least, suppression of those opposed to the ones who preach hate.

For example, sermons discussing "fat cat bankers" as has been done these last 4 + years, differ only in a few words from speeches given in the 1930's in the run up to WW2, and speeches that resonate from the 1900's through 1920's as revolution swept Europe. We should remember how that turns out.

The US Progressive way is not that of violent revolution of the peasants against the rich land owners. That was a successful tactic for Europe, Africa, Asia, etc. but WE do not have peasants. ( unless you count the growing govt. dependent "class" ) No, the Progressive way is that of infiltration and "change from within". Change you'd better damn well believe in. The target is the middle class. The "rich" just a distraction.

There is no way the proposed tax hike on the evil rich can accomplish any goal other than propaganda. WE are, as always, the ones to pay in loss of money and freedoms.
