Mike is still in ICU and he is still in a coma. He has developed a slight case of pneumonia and is having some small seizures again. They ran a cellular level MRI to determine the exact extent of his brain injuries and we are expecting the results sometime soon. Chris | ||

Ok I have had a little time to digest the information so here it goes. The Neurologist reviewed the in depth MRI and told us that the blood vessels leading from the top of the spine to the brain had suffered multiple strokes which had done some pretty significant damage. They told us that we should prepare ourselves for the idea that Mike will never wake up. I have no idea where we go from here. Chris | ||

I'm with Jumbo...do not give up hope. Talk to him, read this thread to him. There are alot of people pulling and praying for him. Is there anything we can do for your sister? I can't imagine what she's going through. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and the rest of the family. | ||

I just got a call from the hospital and my sister said that Mike opened his eyes! I don't know if he is registering anything but I feel like its a huge step forward. I'll let you know as I know more! Keep praying I think its working!! Chris | ||
