Now it's not very often I have anything good/nice to say about LEO's esp my local LEO's. However this morning I was straight busted 75 in a 55 on the way to work. I saw him and just got that sinking feeling. took him a few miles but he was behind me wig-wags going so I pulled off onto the shoulder and waited.

Took a while but he came up and asked me to shut it down and remove my helmet after an unsuccessful attempt to communicate. I complied and we discussed the reason for him pulling me over. He explained that he had very grave concerns about even attempting to talk with me but he was very glad that I did pull over. Noting a few times that if I hadn't felt the urge to he knew that I didn't really have to.

In the end I got a warning on a 4pt $256 ticket which was/is a welcome reprieve that I am grateful for. The county I was stopped in has a particularly bad reputation for hiring some really bad attitudes. So it was nice to be treated with respect by a LEO whom I was very concerned wouldn't.
