This is the first story I found when I searched regarding Mexican gun violence. Reading it gave me the same bad feeling as it did 3 years ago before any of us knew about fast and furious. Feel free to search and find more propaganda from 09.

A piece of the article:

" MEXICO CITY - There is one gun store in Mexico. And it serves a very select clientele.

The store is run by the Mexican army and occupies two rooms in a heavily guarded building near the army's headquarters in Mexico City.

To shop here, customers need a permit that can take months to get. And once they buy a gun, there are limits on how much ammunition they can buy each month, where they can take the gun, who they can sell it to.

To shoppers here, the irony is clear: Mexico has some of the toughest gun-control laws in the world, yet the country's drug cartels are armed to the teeth with high-powered illegal weapons because guns are so easy to buy in the United States and smuggle over the border.

"If the United States had a system like ours, we wouldn't have so many problems here in Mexico," Agustin Villordo, 27, of Puebla, Mexico, said Tuesday as he shopped for a hunting rifle.

On Thursday, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano will visit Mexico to discuss ways to stop gun smuggling. The meeting is part of an effort by the United States to help Mexico in an increasingly bloody war against the drug cartels. More than 6,300 people have died in the violence since 2006.

But Mexicans say little will change as long as the United States continues to make it easy to buy guns.

"It is necessary to reduce the sale of weapons, particularly of high-power weapons, in the United States," President Felipe Caldern said during a visit to Britain on Monday.

He said there was a "correlation" between Mexico's soaring drug violence and the end of the U.S. ban on sales of assault-style weapons. That ban, which expired in 2004, barred sales of semi-automatic rifles with certain combinations of military-style features, such as folding stocks, large magazines or flash suppressors. "

So Americans must suffer because of the Mexican problem? Close the border. Simple. That we we can enjoy our freedoms, and they can rot in their hellhole of their own creation.

Since it turns out that the 90% figure is an absolute lie, that entire series of articles is a propaganda effort to rob Americans of their Constitutional rights.

http://www.mvass.com/2012/06/22/trouble-for-the-1s t-amendment-in-2014/

Immediately after the Prez lied to you about Mexican guns, F&F began to try and make that lie true.

It would be hard to actually do so. But since the truth is optional to these folk, what do they care?

The bulk of guns used by the drug gangs come from 2 sources. The Mexican Army, and Red China. ( you might remember that Red China smuggled a LOT of surplus Ak variants into LA back during the Clinton admin. Why? To screw with the US in a deniable way... Like they have since Mao chased the ( sorta ) elected government out to Taiwan, and began his consolidation of power, to the tune of hundreds of millions of dead Chinese. Ask a Korean War vet.

Earlier today I was at a gun show in North Carolina.

It was great to see such a diverse group of my fellow Americans exercising their rights to keep and openly bear arms.

2000 rounds of 7.62 x 39 for $300 and MRE cases for $40.

Bring on the zombies!

Those of us close to Middletown Ohio can get the 7.62x39 even cheaper than that sometimes...

And 7.62x25. Neat stuff.

Eric Witholder

Show me a company that wouldn't fire anyone who even approached this level of incompetence.

For a while it was embarrassing . . now it's kinda entertaining to watch the 'Junior Class Spokesman" at The White House bob and weave as he tries to unlie lies.

These guys are amateurs.

I scanned thru here and couldnt find any mention of the claimed premise for the F&F operation. They said the affect would be to follow the US guns that were knowingly sold to cartels then trace their way up the ranks to find out who's running things......BECAUSE WE DIDNT ALREADY KNOW!!! Are you F'n kidding me!!! We have the ability to know the name, age, physical characteristics, places frequented, etc. by people with only limited connection to al-qaeda ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GLOBE but yet we dont know who the top cartel leaders are RIGHT NEXT DOOR???? Who believes this hog trash?

The problem with trying to believe that they wanted to track the weapons is that they had absolutely no plan, no matter how incompetent, to even try to track them. This was nothing but our government forcing legitimate dealers to make illegal gun sales that they KNEW were going to go to very bad people south of the border. As a best case scenario, someone should go to jail for this. As a worse, and more probable case, it was a political plan to use against legitimate gun owners and dealer to provide proof of their anti-gun rhetoric. They didn't care at all about the lives of the innocents that would be forever shattered by their actions.

So, here we have the President lying before the Fast and Furious program began. ( which was NOT named that until later.... Holder uses that to lie himself about it's very existence )

Note that this was LONG after the Bush admin's gun-walking program was canceled and ended, partly due to lack of cooperation of the Mexicans. Bush's people feared that guns would slide though and be used to kill civilians, police and American LEO's....

Under Obama's Justice dept., they were.

Obviously the reason Congress hates Holder is that he's "black".

Has nothing to do with the Frank Rich pardon, the PR terrorists pardon ( to help elect Hillary ) the criminalization of war under Holder, or the glaring fact that the Truth is as foreign a concept to the man as the whole nation of the Constitution limiting his power.

Nixon's Watergate didn't involve the murder of hundreds of people....

it is the same trick that they have used with other federal agencies - they just cant seem to ever understand it is a failed fallacy.
Give them the money, drugs, guns, medicare reimbursements.... and then we will chase and pursue .....
fails everytime it makes the news.
I would like to think they are keeping their successes 'secret' because of sensitive means, measures, sources, and targets.... but we know that ain't true either.
The only thing more pourous than the border, is the administrations security protocols for information.

ps, the Army has had the technology to embed a tactical responder into every buttstock of every weapon issued for over a decade. Open source trade show tech out of Atlanta shows some amazing capability and information - somebody is lying - as always

Seems factually correct, a little biased.

Compared to multiple falsehoods and stonewalling by the AG and the Prez.

That UN treaty is coming... maybe Barry will sign it and enact it without Congressional approval. Like the war in Libya.
