"Stop throwing the Constitution in my face. It's just a goddamned piece of paper." George W Bush

Moxnix, Not voting is a vote for Obama.

Don't like Romney either. It's past time for the wretched Republicans to get over the "it's his turn" crap, that's how we got Dole, and McCain. I'm sick of the Country Club Reps, ( same clubs in many cases as the D's ) and while the social activist crap that tries to attach itself to the Tea Party is bogus, a fiscally conservative, Constitution believing R party is to be desired.

We may have to fire them all.

But the D's have been taken over by the leftist, anti-constitution crowd. Communists, Socialists, Greenies, Fascists, all have a long history of disaster and murder. ( if the Satan Bug is ever released, it's going to be the Greenies.... Bet you a case of spring water. )

Barack Obama, who I've long thought was a Commie.. turns out to be a fascist of sorts. Government run and paid for industry with private owners... owners who give vast amount of money to barack, in return for vaster amounts of YOUR money. See Solyndra and all the other companies that have Executives that make out awesome while the regular guy goes on to be one of the highest percentage ever on food stamps.... Wall Street gives mass donations and gets YOUR money.

So, while Romney is not my choice, and I understand the frustration... Vote for the (&(^ anyway..... Or the guy you KNOW hates and mocks you will have his chance to give Putin whatever he wants.... As Promised. On tape.

Please lose your obstinance as you need to vote for Romney so that the private sector will cease to be demonized by the White House. That is an important step in reassuring business that it is okay to do business in the United States. Capital will loosen up five seconds after Obama becomes a lame duck. That is, if there is the political will to avoid the upcoming, so-called Taxmeggedon.

Barack Obama is probably the single most embarrassing thing America has ever paraded in front of the world.

This guy has pretty much fuqued up everything he's put his hands on . . . I even confess to feeling a bit of pity as his former cohorts abandon him in large numbers.

I suspect that, on the one hand Obama hates me without ever having met me, Romney holds me and mine, as non-magic underwear people,} in low regard. I may write in someone, eh, like, eh, Vladimir Putin or, eh, Nancy Pelosi....

The odds are good that Mitt won't be able to get away with the lack of accountability Barack enjoys. The press will be all over his every breath, so....I wouldn't worry about the magic underwear.

What's wrong with magic underwear??

I have very much enjoyed their ( LDS ) big local pageant, it's a great stage play. ( I also know a local who claims his family is still owed a team of horses by Smith... )

I Don't buy their faith, but admire the idea of being prepared for food emergencies and such... quite a bit less thrilled with the LDS orthodox church's stand on women... But the President's faith(s) are either far worse, or not much better, depending on if you believe him as to his actual faith....or believe he still holds with the teachings of his childhood madrassa. ( I personally believe him in this one matter... )

I say that as a committed Libber.

Wouldn't doubt too much that Romney looks down, a little, in private, at those not of his faith. Don't doubt at all that Obama has publicly stated his disgust with those not of his.

I suspect Putin would be a better Communist than Obama. He sure seems better at the being king business...

Nancy? I think we need to fight about that one. I'd rather have Angelina Jolie. At least I won't have nightmares after the state of the nation address. ( dreams, yes, nightmares, no )

http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2012/06/19/S en-Claire-McCaskill-The-Senate-Has-Passed-a-Budget

Ok, I'm seeming to not be paying attention. I was under the impression the last budget passed was for 2009 under Bush. Obama has submitted budgets, but the Senate has voted them down. At least that's what I thought. ( I have my opinion of why there is no budget, it's easier to conceal how much you spend that way )

So either I'm misinformed by the infamous Faux News, Or Claire is wrong. ( and I don't watch Fox news )

So, I'm ignorant, She's insane, or she's a liar. 2 of those options really call for firing her at the first chance.

If She is your representative, get back to us on that, would you?

Budgets originate in the House.
and are ignored in the Senate. ( by one man. )
They are also proposed by the Prez. And rejected, soundly, the last 3 years.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_federal _budget

So... AFAIK no budget since 2009. Just massive spending through "continuing resolutions". Unless Claire is right, and I'm ignorant of the facts because of Fox News.

Interesting to watch Obama bitch slapped by Putin yesterday. He's just now coming to grips with the fact that he'd become irrelevant on the world stage.

The Fast and Furious stuff is in the news.

A recap for those who are puzzled about the furor.

In chronological order.

A female anti- Second Amendment activist published the lie that the majority of guns used by the drug gangs in Mexioo are bought here and smuggled into Mexico. Lie. feel free to verify.

The NRA pointed out the lie.

The President repeated that lie in a speech calling for gun control.

The NRA pointed out the lie.

The Justice Dept, under Holder, altered a ( stupid Bush era? ) plan to track criminal sales of guns across the border, into a plan to facilitate international illegal sales to drug gangs.

Gun Dealers were told, by the Authorities, to sell guns to people that the gun dealers thought were crooked. The Guns were then smuggled into Mexico, despite agents watching the guns who asked if they could stop the transfer.

Agents were punished and vilified for complaining about being ORDERED to let the bad guys smuggle guns.

Congress asked questions.

Holder lied.

Holder lied.

Holder lied.

Holder now want to conceal what appears to be an attempt to subvert the Constitution by making a lie truth, by selling guns to drug gangs.

We don't KNOW who is behind this. The AG, The Prez? Why?

Because Holder lies.

best scandal to hit the white house....yet.

Top ATF players had to have worked hand in hand with AG and Prez. Just a poorly executed step to try and point a finger at why we need more gun control.

Question is - does the ATF give a shit about Joe Citizen's 2nd Amendment rights anymore than this wise and noble administration? Doubtful.

Is Obama's proper name Milhouse or King Hussein (the Magnificent)? He is smelling more like Nixon every day so I am going with the former even though he is attempting to be King.

Get ready for Watergate II except this is worse because people have already been killed.

King Hussein makes proclamations that Lefties may like but he does it outside the Constitution. We are in mortal danger if he continues to stretch Executive Power and is left unchallenged. Are you Lefties going to like it when the pendulum swings the other way and a future President makes proclamations that you disagree with? There will no one to protect you so it is to your benefit to ally yourselves with Conservatives on this issue.

How can anyone support Obama? Please chime in. Anyone?

i find it most reassuring that if any lefties are on this sight, they know they have ZERO to go on in defense of Mao-bama. The sad thing about this whole scenario is that Mao-bama's best good friends, the liberal news media, will keep their lips sealed on this issue best they can and it will likely disappear like water rolling off a duck's back.

And what the hell is Romney doing? As much as I dont care anything for him, I hope he is merely holding his cards close to his chest and will wait until late september to put all the nasty facts on the table.

EXACTLY! Someone should do time for this fiasco that ignored out gun laws and got many people killed, including our own law enforcement officers. The only question is, how high does it go. I've suspected from the start that it may go to the top. It's looking more and more likely. If not it would have been prudent to throw Holder under the bus by now.

The difference is that the media is in love with Obama and will be complicit in the cover up whereas the media despised Nixon and wanted him ousted.

MSNBC and Democratic stooges are crying "Witch Hunt!" which is so Nixonian.

The spuds here are too young to remember Watergate but it wasn't the actual crime that destroyed Nixon but the cover up. Milhouse might be the "smartest man in the house" but he certainly hasn't learned from history.

Off topic.
Last week, Rickles joked that Obama is "a janitor with a broken broom." So apropos for Barack Milhouse Obama.

How many got killed as a result of Nixon and Watergate? Zero.

Under BO/Holder/F&F we have a dead border patrol agent, another law enforcement officer killed and hundreds of civilians in Mexico. This doesn't even get into the intent of F&F yet. Top it all off with BO being a terrible president and you make Jimmy Carter look fantastic.

Unless F&F was a plan to overthrow Mexico, it fails the test of "national defense".

IMHO, executive privilege in this case is a confession that Obama was the instigator of these multiple illegal acts. High crimes and misdemeanors.

Who'd a thunk?

Nixon's problem was not ego.
It was his inability to tell opponent from enemy.
In his defense, that was an era of riots in the streets, ( sponsored by the KGB ) mass sit ins, ( ditto ) and machine gun nests in the Treasury building. We were at war. ( not declared, we haven't done that since 1941 ) The Forces of International Communism were hard at work in the campuses and news rooms of America. ( just like today, only more so... listen to NPR )

Don't believe me? Who won the Tet Offensive?

Watergate is one of the funniest stories in history. One John Dean, counsel to the president, stuck his finger in a plan to get blackmail goodies on rich Democrat donors. The plan, as presented, was to bug the phone at a certain desk in DNC headquarters at the Watergate Hotel. ( a very nice place, btw ) It was known that one certain desk had a 3 ring binder with pics of DC hookers, to be made available, gratis, to influential donors to the DNC. Pics including the future Maureen Dean. Well, John knew his girl friend's pic was in there, anyway.

The idea was to bug that phone and have dirt on the Democrats. The REAL reason was to remove that page, to cover Dean's a$$. He didn't want it known he was having a relationship with a hooker. Looks bad, you know? Only 1 of the Cuban Plumbers knew the real reason. They broke in, they bugged the phone, and got out, clean.

Trouble is they got the wrong desk. Why? Still a question that haunts many. Ok, a few.

On the second break in, they got caught. The rest, as they say, is history.... but with the real facts obscured. For Decades.

Yes, Nixon had a hand in the cover up. Yes, perhaps, he deserved to be crucified for that. ( as, perhaps, Obama deserves equal treatment ) But he did not order the break in, as far as is known, although he did approve of the cover up. Good enough. Not deserving of the job we pay them so well to do for us.

Sifo, don't you think you are being unfair to James Earl Carter? He was, after all, attacked by a giant swimming rabbit. He had every reason to try and kill it with an oar. Just as Barrack Hussien Obama has every reason to order the deaths of dozens of people, personally, acting as judge and jury.... and asserts his power to do so to you if he feels you are a threat in any way to his happiness.

Oh, on second thought, you have a point.
