Anyone happen to know what the % or approx. mph the speedo is off on the 1125? There is the speedo healer from www.healtech-electronics.com with the SH-V4(system) and the SH-HA2 (plug &play harness)but at $114.99 it seems a bit expensive.

the 1125 is known for having one of, if not the most, accurate speedo in the industry. it is no more than 5% off at about 160mph, from my experience when the gauge reads 172, the GPS reads 166 (yes i know i shouldnt have been looking going that speed...moving on)

Do NOT waste your money, until over 100mph the thing is about 95-100% accurate, after that it fluxuates a little bit but nothing extreme like jap bikes

Can't you calibrate it a bit more via the ECM as well?

The speedometers accuracy will depend on what tires you are running, but typically it will be within 3mph at 70mph.

You can easily adjust the speedometer's accuracy for free using Tunerpro

Well I've done some "measurements" I always reset my trip odometer when going to and from work. In my car it's always 71.4 (+ or - .1) on my bike it's 75.5 (+ or - .1) that's miles

Cars have same issue as bikes. Gps is the most accurate

GPS can be fooled big time when going through twisties. They do simple TSD calculations and the distance is sometimes significantly shortened by the GPS cutting the corner. There is also a noticeable delay in acceleration. GPS works well for straight and steady speed though. Great way to calibrate your speedo.

All the cars I've checked (3 of them) have been dead on with my GPS. YMMV.
