THX 1138 was a license plate number in American Graffiti, another Lucas film. I think it also crops up in Star Wars. |

Fat tax - the only growing segment of the American economy with any predictablity - the waisteline. My econ teacher was shocked at the notion when I submitted it two years ago.... even more frightening was the GOVERNMENT white papers on assessment / consumption / obesity tables. fat tax - it comes. Maybe it will be the round in the chamber that finally gets America mad - the way the tax on tea did against the British (or so say the history cliff's notes) |

Sticking my nose in because I have a couple of questions, maybe City could answer. As far as I am aware, the IRS is an arm of the BIS, a privately owned institution, and the IRS is Head Quartered in Puerto Rico, which is not part of the united States. It is not Federal, nor part of your government. Why do people give them anything? Is there anything in your Constitution about paying 'tax' to a private corporation? Please tell me if I'm wrong. |

The IRS (Internal Revenue Service) is not connected to BIS (the Bank of International Settlements) as far as I can tell. Puerto Rico is part of the US, although as a territory, not as a State. BIS is "owned" by 58 central banks, not private investors, so it is international, just not privately held. Where did you get your information? JOOC... |

Most taxes are paid to private companies, that collect them for the Gov. Sales tax is just the visible one. Cell Phone companies collect taxes from you ( supposed to be to give schools internet.... ) and are forbidden by law to break the tax out. ( a genius move by dishonest folk, IMHO ) Gas stations, sellers of Cigarettes, lawn care products.... EVERYTHING.... all pass on the tax to you and seldom break that out on the bill. Arguably ALL corporate taxes are paid by the customer, they just collect & pass on. Plus the cost of the accountants. Also your wages are lower, because of taxes. What your boss pays, you can't get. But, hey. The IRS has no responsibility, and a lot of sawed off shotguns. What are you going to do? Vote against Obama? ( Next year...THAT will be taxable ) |

They are sub the Treasury Dept. as is the Secret Service If anybody meddling in the economy is privately held - its the FED. Puerto Rico is nice, did some range time with a Battle Group Ex back in 89 there. A fun two weeks. I would hope they open Cuba before they ever make Puerto Rico a state. but I think Castro has to die first. |

Chauly asked me Where did you get your information? JOOC... BIS *The BIS is central bank to all major central banks in the world. *It is privately owned by central banks themselves, most of whom are also private. http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/so ciopol_globalbanking04.htm Central Banks In 2000 there were seven countries whose Central Banks did not belong to the Rothschilds. They were Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea and Iran. Those countries have mostly now been dealt to. Guess which may be next? William Dean A. Garner: http://www.blacklistednews.com/?news_id=7913 Federal Reserve http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va& aid=10489 http://www.apfn.org/apfn/fed_reserve.htm IMF *Despite even establishment calls for the dissolution of the IMF, it continues to operate unhindered and with virtually no accountability. *The IMF is a channel for taxpayer money to be used to bail out private banks who made questionable loans to countries already saddled with too much debt. http://www.apfn.org/apfn/fed_reserve.htm IRS At some unknown date, before 1940, another Bureau of Internal Revenue was established in Puerto Rico, along with Trust fund #62 Puerto Rico (Internal Revenue). These two Bureaus are the only Bureaus of Internal Revenue which have ever existed, one in the Philippines and the other in Puerto Rico. In 1953, the United States relinquished its control over the Philippines. http://www.afn.org/~govern/IRSkinny.html City wrote "They are sub the Treasury Dept. as is the Secret Service." Is the Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) an organization within the U.S. Department of the Treasury? Answer: No. The IRS is not an organization within the United States Department of the Treasury. The U.S. Department of the Treasury was organized by statutes now codified in Title 31 of the United States Code, abbreviated “31 U.S.C.” The only mention of the IRS anywhere in 31 U.S.C. §§ 301‑313 is an authorization for the President to appoint an Assistant General Counsel in the U.S. Department of the Treasury to be the Chief Counsel for the IRS. See 31 U.S.C. 301(f) http://www.supremelaw.org/sls/31answers.htm If not an organization within the U.S. Department of the Treasury, then what exactly is the IRS? Answer: The IRS appears to be a collection agency working for foreign banks and operating out of Puerto Rico under color of the Federal Alcohol Administration (“FAA”). But the FAA was promptly declared unconstitutional inside the 50 States by the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of U.S. v. Constantine, 296 U.S. 287 (1935), because Prohibition had already been repealed. http://www.sweetliberty.org/issues/hoax/whoownsu.h tml Puerto Rico An unincorporated territory of the United States. So is the IRS based in Puerto Rico because it cannot operate within the 50 States? *Washington DC *City of London *Vatican The trilogy, War, Money, Religion. Independent states within countries, but not part of that country. Clearly, the terms “United States” and “United States of America” are both used in this same statute. They are not one and the same. The former refers to the federal government -- in the U.S. Constitution and throughout most federal statutes. The latter refers to the 50 States that are united by, and under, the U.S. Constitution. 28 U.S.C. 1746 is the only federal statute in all of Title 28 of the United States Code that utilizes the term “United States of America”, as such. *UNITED STATES OF AMERICA the Corporation operating out of Washington DC, to whom you are all slaves. *united states under the Constitution, where you're the boss. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUpZhhbKUBo http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-515319560 256183936# Your country has been hijacked, and Ron Paul knows it. While I'm in complete agreement that Congress richly deserves it's low approval rating..... recall this is a poll, and not reality. The map is not the terrain. It is a result of years of dishonest rhetoric that the Supreme Court and other institutions have lost ground. This is a case where evil men seeking power have diminished the checks and balances designed to keep them from gaining more power. For others, such as public schools, Labor Unions and media, the politicizing of content and degradation of quality and results, earn them our lessening respect. It is intriguing that Medicine, the Criminal Justice system, and Religion have gained.... and a pleasure to see that the Military has lost little despite a long term propaganda campaign against the Virtues. I believe that despite dishonest publications like the LA Times & NBC that most Americans have had ample cause to be thankful to our troops.... IMHO. |

Your country has been hijacked, and Ron Paul knows it. FB1 knows it too. Geedee, nice work, and well played. I've enjoyed our visits, and our budding online friendship. If ever we meet, the first ten or 20 rounds are on me 'n D, k?. There's so much to say, but to what end? So many people in the US know we've been hijacked, and are PISSED about it! But...........what do we do? Even IF Mr. Obama is defeated at the polls come November, have we (the US....and the world??) really gained anything. Is it too late?? Or, is THIS election cycle the figurative modern-day cry of alarm, "The British are coming! The British are coming!" Denise and I spent several hours this afternoon with folks who feel exactly as WE do (we were at our local shooting range, launching lead). These folks - men, women, black, white and otherwise - believe in the United States of America and the Bill of Rights. It's EASY to come away from the range feeling invigorated. The owners just got back from the NRA convention in St. Louis and THEY are invigorated, too (even more than usual). Yet.......................... ...it has taken well over two centuries for this country to reach its present state of disrepair, and the cure - if it comes at all - CAN'T come overnight. I'm hopeful that FINALLY - at least in my lifetime, anyway - this country is truly wide awake and three-alarmed, and that there are still enough Patriots left to defeat the teat-sucking, kowtowing, socialist/marxist/power-mad semi-Kenyan loyalists come November. Moxnix posted a new-to-me "opinion" source here on BWB several days ago, and I spent some time perusing said source last night. Mr. Reed certainly has a way with words, cutting pretty much quickly to the chase, and usually leaving me cold with despair at the honest brutality of his words. That's not his fault; he's only calling it as he sees it, and he's seen way more than me. Here's an example: http://www.fredoneverything.net/Screwed.shtml I am an optimistic, fun-loving, everything's OK kinda guy by nature, and I'll endeavor to continue to be so. But an hour with Fred last night left me despondent and blue. An hour at the range this afternoon, however, left me and Denise feeling like we still have a fighting chance, should the unthinkable happen in November. Geedee, thank you for your interest in our country's affairs. And for your friendship. Cheers, amigo. Best, FB |

Fahren, wow! That is the most sobering well written condensed article I've seen. If we are so predictable as to our behaviour, then it is easy for TPTB (or were!), who control global mainstream media, Hollywood, finance et al to herd us to their vision. Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Albert Einstein Past time to take personal responsibilty back and to relieve 'them' of the task. Pictures of okra, and bunnies with pancakes on their heads alone won't do it . |

http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/297488/occu py-s-totalitarian-temptation-charles-c-w-cooke Yes, I understand. Do you? 3 greatest lies in English. "The checks in the mail" "I'll respect you in the morning" "I'm from the government and I'm here to help you" Add to those possibly the scariest line. "It's for your own good" I've spent over 45+ years reading about utopian visions of how people should, or will someday live. I've followed the works of Paolo Soleri for decades, and even been to one of his exhibitions. Love the science and architecture.... but have never looked into moving into a Hive. Arcologies are fascinating things. http://www.arcosanti.org/ For a fictional take I suggest "Oath Of Fealty" by Niven & Pournelle. In the end, despite the advantages of city apartment living, I chose to live where I can turn up the music, spend a few hours hitting the pell, and consider putting in a bee hive to give me an excuse to make mead. None of these things would please the kind of person that wants me to be told to do stuff for my own good. |

I like them having their own society, preferrably on a barge in the straits off Somalia. Wait and see how long the glory glad hand of communism survives in the real world. This is the kernel of what the 'Sustainability/Transition/Resilience' movement is all about. Surely you cant function out on your own, out of the hive, out of our care - we need you to be with us ..... or you are against us and we will tax, assess, fine, confisgate and subjugate until you quit and join - or the more militant - you die in your attempt to do otherwise.
