Maybe it was a rock or just because the V&H slip on that I have on the M2 is old but there is a quarter size hole in the dead center bottom of my pipe. After a brief search on the Badweb I was unable to locate a thread about exhausts for a tuber. Admittedly(is that a word?) I lack experience in the motorcycle exhaust area. Any ideas, suggestions, thoughts, comments are appreciated. I am looking for something similar to what I have but not limited to the V&H slip on. Thanks!

If you like what you currently have you could simply get a patch welded on, assuming it's not rotted away with corrosion.

D&D. It weighs a ton and will piss off the neighbors, but sounds better than that tin can you've got now, and the D&D will NEVER need repacking.

I have a G-Force race can with lifetime guarantee.

You can use it to look through as well, it's LOUD!

Upon further inspection, it looks like a little of both, impact damage as well as a little rottenness.

Is the hole in the headers or the muffler?
I've got a muffler from a 2000 M2 you can have for the cost of shipping.

You can still buy the Supertrapp mufflers which were the Buell "Pro-Series" cans back in the day brand new. A little bit of coin, but regarded as among the most durable aftermarket cans for the tubers.

The hole is in the muffler. Dead center in the bottom middle. Thanks Crusty. I may take you up on that but am exploring other options right now.
