not Buell related, but i know there are so many helpful souls here. i have exhausted my internet searching.

need; 16mm x 1.5 OD and 3/8-16 ID adapter

i have found some kits that come with a number of pieces, but hate to waste 6 pieces just to get the one i need.

any help would be appreciated.

if i had the machines, i wold do just that.

these are common sized adapters for shift knobs, but can't find just the adapter, only kits with 5 or 6 different sized ones, just seems like a waste since i'll never use the others.

they aren't that expensive, the kits, like 8.00 plus shipping, so i guess it will be the best way. just hate the thought of having more hardware in a box that will never get used!!! lol

well, i ordered the kit, 12.90 shipped for 4 adapters and jam nuts, so i'll have 3 extra adapters and jam nuts.

Put them in the "That'll come in handy someday" section.

Known to my wife as "All that crap".

Funnily enough she never says anything when I repair something using "that crap".

A few months from now, somebody's going to say in conversation, "I need a shift knob adapter, but can't find one." You'll have the chance to be a hero.
