By the time I finished shooting pix at Groundhog Mountain the incoming fog gave way to a cold, dreary rain. I had my foul-weather gear with, but was too stubborn to put it on. Ended up dropping out of the mountains and rode to Elkin, North Carolina to a local range to put some rounds thru the 9. It wasn't warm down below, but at least it was dry, and after a couple more hours of riding I was finally dry, too.
