When someone like the guy in City's video does this it's no big deal. Yes in most places you can even "sell" the excess back to the electric co. In many ways this is like the guys who make diesel fuel from used fry oil. It seems appealing on a small scale. When you scale it up to industrial scales it no longer works. In the case of diesel there just aren't enough deep fryers. In the case of windmills, it just makes the electricity available unpredictable and unmanageable. Mean while the coal fired plants need to keep the boilers hot to meet demand when the wind stops.

>>> FAT TAX is a com in !

I saw that.

The talk is about a has rate multiplier based on B.M.I.

The logic is that folks with a high B.M.I. cost the government (now that they pretty well have wrested health care from the hands of private companies) more so you simply pay an increased premium.

There has also been talk of B.M.I. based initiatives in education.

It's nice to have a government that cares . . . who cares if it's adding debt at a record rate.

"of course there is the Gilligans Island solution - everything is powered by ped cycle"

Um...what about the batteries in the professor's radio that lasted forever. What we need are a bunch of those batteries. Problem solved.
