From Lou this morning.

Thank you to all my friends and family for your prayers and words of encouragement. I'm still here (Sunday) in the cardiac care unit, hopefully get a couple more artery stints tomorrow morning, then home sweet home on Tuesday. Thank you all again. BTW, I feel pretty dog gone good.

Carol printed the "Lou and the Reaper" framed it, and hung it on the wall in the hospital!

Yesterday was stent day for Lou.
Talked to Lou last night after they got finished with him. He sounds great, but was a little tired. Said he wasn't in any pain, except where they had enter his groin to get the stent in.
Talked to Carol also, she's holding up pretty well.
They both appreciate all the good thoughts, prayers, good juju, and everything from everyone.
Carol had to leave,(9 o'clock and they run everyone out of the CCU) so she sent me a message this morning, here's part of it.
It's been a very long day, but we're hoping the future will be full of better days after all of this... unfortunately, I'm afraid we have few more not so fun times ahead. There are several more test the doctors want to run to check other arteries, like Lou's neck (to avoid stroke) and his legs. I think there are going to be a few more stents in his future. But if it means a few months out of the rest of his LOOOONNNNGGGG life, then now's the time to do it.
So keep 'em both in your thoughts and prayers!

Just found this today. Prayers for Lou and Carol both. Met him for the 1st time in Franklin. Genuine indeed! Not very many people like that left.

I intercepted a call from Carol to Kim last night. Lou was out as of Tuesday afternoon and is doing very well. I didn't get a lot of details since it was a girl call but he's doing good. He's taken up the slide guitar using his Tacoma Road King. Says he's got a pretty diverse slide set he does now. That will add an interesting twist to the Memorial Ride this spring. Hope to see ya all there cheering him on!

Rock On Brother Lou!
