The warden and I are away from home for a few months and I didn't bother bringing my owners manual with us because there is a link to it from the B,B,& D section that I figured I could look at any time I wanted. Only problem is that the mother ship has shut down those links!!! Damn H-D!
I have found the settings for front and rear preload, compression, and rebound here on Badweb but since I had been running solo I hadn't messed with those settings in a long time. I don't remember which adjusters control which settings, or which set screws are turned clockwise and then out or visa versa.
I know that I should have brought my book with me but is there a working link that will show me which adjusters to turn which way so we're not fighting the bike every time we try to take some turns?
We're on a '09 XT.
Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I'm working at Turkey Point and I've seen another Uly, an 1125R, and an S1 in the bike parking lot. Anyone here?
Imagine that. Four Buells in a lot of about 100 bikes!

Can't help you on the settings but I'll be at St. Lucie in about 4 weeks - maybe we can hook up and ride..

We're probably going to have Sunday nights off (nightshifter) because our son lives in Boynton Beach and has Mondays off. He gets off work around midnight on Sundays so we figured we could meet up with him and get some late night dinner/breakfast and stay on a schedule. If we will be around Boynton Beach and you're free at night give me a PM. We won't be far apart.

The only thing I adjust (06 X) going from solo to passenger, is cranking the rear preload to max.

That's it.

Leave everything else alone and you should be just fine : )

I was disappointed to find that the manual doesn't list settings for a single rider under 170 lbs.

Guess the bike wasn't designed to be ridden by child-size adults

That's why Froggy always whines about his suspension behavior... ; )

I thought the lowest settings in the book were 150-170?
