weeee and it gets better ! Obama just declared the US a NATION of amnesty for illegals. Yep, ICE is not to investigate, pursue, charge, detain, nor deport anyone for the mere offense of being in the country illegally..... the next step is to make it a CIVIL RIGHTS violation to ask if they are in the country illegally (you know its coming) And now that they have all been discharged from being here 'undocumented' (because if you cant document them, you certainly cant UNdocument them) Guess which 38-51 MILLION just got approved for the new healthcare coverage ?.... yep. enjoy how long before they are given the right to vote, and this administration pushes the popular version of it. Just saw and op ed piece that is passing its way around.... apparently ILLEGAL aliens are GOOD for the economy. The article pines that they pay taxes, have Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security deducted from their pay (if they are on actual payroll doles) and don't collect back out because their SSN doesnt match and they CAN'T collect.... This is shutting off the faucet, while the front hose is running, and claiming you are saving money and water....and of course helping the environment ;') | ||

The problem is that illegal aliens can LEGALLY get a valid SS number. They can and do collect all of that, sometimes without ever paying in. That doesn't even get into issues of what the unemployed citizen is costing us. | ||

Did you see Pelosi giving the "I have something on him" talk about Gingrich? Politics aside. Look at her face . . . the tension . . .the anger . . . I listened to his speech yesterday at the firehouse. The guy is, literally and figuratively, clueless. We elected a "neighborhood organizer" with precisely zero experience working, leading or organizing anything larger than a canned food drive. He's a fellow who has no background . . . no one remembers him as a kid, we can find no one who knew him in college, his transcripts (at least at Columbia) seem to have vaporized, he studied with no one and "poof". . . I find it amazing how easily he pulled the wool over the eyes of an America that's going through a temporary (I hope) phase of "fat, dumb and happy . . . let someone else do it". The guy is an embarrassment. | ||

If we want to know when Iran goes nuke, ask Israel. They have the best intel. I 'spect the bombing starts between now and May. Of course, Obutthead is on the side of the Iranians, so Israel has to mostly go it alone. Gas should be $4 before the conflict, at least $5 by the end of summer. Luckily, Ogreener nixed the Canadian pipeline and has kept roadblocks in front of drilling whenever possible. I love politics, local, national and global.
