I am in need of a reputable shipping/escrow company to assist with a long-distance motorcycle transaction.

This isn't spam, no one is from Lebanon and in the military or sending Paypal for $3k more than the asking price.

This is a serious inquire. If anyone has any experiences with bike shipping companies and escrow companies I would greatly appreciate hearing about them.

Thanks!

I purchased my '02 X1 from eBay from a guy in Florida, had it shipped to my house in OKC. The guy who showed up at my house reminds me of the people on the A&E show "Shipping Wars".. small box truck with random stuff in the back, and plenty of care taken to protect all the merchandise. He delivered the bike and keys, the seller mailed me a signed title. No trouble at all with the whole transaction, but I guess I could have just gotten lucky. Lots of opportunities in that scenario to get scammed, but I tend to trust people until given a reason not to.

I used these guys to get my own bike from California to New York 2 years ago. Absolutely no complaints.

I'd think an escrow account would need to be a separate company, so maybe check with your local credit union?
