you were NEVER supposed to collect on it to begin with.
When they 'built' it in 34; the entitlement pay out age was 10% higher than the contemporary morbidity tables.
It was always set up as a life time of bilking for no return - because you were supposed to DIE first.

Any body that tells you differently is looking at the rhetoric, and NOT the math.

True, 'nuff, that. Based on the German program of Bismark in the earlier century, payout at 65, but few lasted that long.
